  • for german you should try putting the english word on the front then the german word, the article, and the ending. it will be really important when you get to a higher level because if you need to know an article for the word, you wont really know it, i learned the wrong way when i started german two where you need to know those things for german

  • I live in Denmark and we started to learn german in 7th grade and now I'm in 8th grade ;-) So I Can some german but I still suck -.-'

Thanks for the tips! Very helpful! =D

  • @ACA1997KSS I'm getting better but the grammar is so confusing! Glad it helped :)

  • @CocoFemmeFatale I can understand that ;) But I'm good at the grammer but i suck at remember the words -.-' ;)

  • Helpful :)

  • @sentfrumabove97 Thank you :)

  • thats good tips :) i´m a german girl and i understand the words and phrases .. that very cool :D in the way you said the words and phrases there be very funny :)

  • The american way of learning a language is so so so so so different. Here in Ireland I'm learning spanish (2nd year of university) and we start with grammar get that literally engraved in our brain and not single words and phrases. They come later once you know all the grammar you begin to do conversation classes where you learn more vocabulary and phrases like that based on the grammar you know! Such a higher standard! *no offence* Have a grat school year! <3

  • @karolineczkaaa We're learning grammar too, which is why I have notes :) I can't make cue caards of grammar rules because there would be WAYY too many haha, too many rules :( Also, German is much easier to learn than Spanish because it is more closely related to the English language - therefore similar grammar rules :) (Don't get me wrong though, some things can be pretty backwards!)

  • @CocoFemmeFatale I was learning german as well as spanish in secondary school (high school) ugh I hated german! I dont know what it was about it but spanish suited me better! I'm almost fluent now too! So happy :) Someday I will pick up german again but for right now I want to concentrate on spanish completely! Good luck with everything! Love the school videos you make! Always helpful to know what others are doing even if its completely different. As you said. Different type of learning! :)

  • @karolineczkaaa Thanks so much! ^_^ I was the same with French (not my forte! haha) The sad part is my family is french and I just can't grasp it!

  • Nice ...

  • do you use cue cards for every test or just some subjects? also, how do you take notes? by category?

  • @PlushGlassDoll I use cue cards for some subjects - they usually only work by memorization.

So if there is certain terms you have to remember in a class (vocabulary words in English, Social, Bio, ect) they REALLY help.

My notes are usually just by date and in the order the teacher/proff teaches them by. Then when I come home and retype them I organize them into categories. This really helps you rethink things and by doing that you're not only organizing your notes, but studying too!

    :)

  • I study with flash cards too! There's so helpful! i'm a junior and i'm in two AP classes, which are college level classes, so flash cards are really important for me. I also love my agenda, it helps SO much! I do the same thing with my notes, I date them too! I've taken over 30 pages of notes in one class this year! CRAZY! But love the video! you're so sweet and genuine! <3

  • @BettyClaire1 Awe, thank you so much! I'm glad we have the same tips :) it shows that we're doing it right! Haha.
