  • Bunch of us guys met Dan about 20 years ago at the Fresno YMCA. While we played "hoops", Dan was in the gym. Between our games we would take a look at Dan and his buddies pushing the iron. Impressive. Rest in Peace Dan. The master is now with the Master.

  • I lived in Fresno in the early 2000's and trained with Dan for about a year at the Fresno "Y". He was one of the nicest people I have ever met, and he was an awe inspiring lifter. He was extremely patient with me when I was learning, and I thought of him often over the years when i moved away. He will be missed greatly.

  • Rest in peace, Dan :(

  • As a master lifter, Dan has been an inspiration to me since picking up the sport three years ago.

Thanks so much for posting this video!!

  • Awesome.

  • this is very very impressive...most people do not understand how hard it is to lift heavy weights at this age..

  • Awesome! A majority of men fifty or sixty years younger than him would probably hurt themselves even trying to lift this weight!

  • Thats my father in law! He's the best in the world!!
