The picture at 0:20 is actually Kopa, because if you look at that picture, and a picture of Kiara from the second movie, you can see that, that's a boy. but between the first and second movie they decided to make it a girl instead. There was a six part story made with permission and approval of the creators of Lion King which told the story of Mufasa and Scar as well as Simba's first child, a son named Kopa. Originally, they were planing to use him in the sequel. But over the years, Disney decided agirl would work better with the story so they basically scrapped him and never even mentioned why he wasn't around anymore, which was fine since not many people had read the books that contained Kopa.

Not trying to be rude, but i really cant follow the story...is kiara and kopa siblings? and then kiara is hurt kuz kopa meets kovus sister, and if they wernt in love or sumthin y was kiara hurt? it would help if you worded things differently... But it was a good idea

@gypsyjaguar I heard that Kopa was killed by Zera in the book and that's why Simba is so protective over Kiara in Lion King 2

@gypsyjaguar In the original theater version, there where 2 cubs at the end. However Disney decided that Kopa's story was too graphic and depressing, so they gave loads of love to his sister instead >.< which kinda messed up the storyline from the books.

Am I the only one who almost peed when I saw Kovu's picture?
My reaction was:
