  • Is that the Yamagata Shinkansen seperating from the Akita Shinkansen. I did the Akita shinkansen trip to Akita last April when I was on the way to Sakata. I thought it was worth doing although it took longer I got to see much more of Japan. The Inaho train is a good trip too.

  • You guys are making us look like complete fools. It's nuts. They're such beautiful machines!

  • What's the name of the train station?

  • Fukushima Station.

  • Amazing video.

  • They almost sound like an airplane when passing by. Just, not as loud.

  • TEH PR0NZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!2906666666

  • 1:30

Tiny shinkansen coming out from the tip of the shinkansen?!

  • I love the way the coupling mouth closes............looks like the Mothra larvae from Godzilla!

  • Renketsu & disconnection scenes really kakkoii! Shinkansens are best trains. I'm a bit annoyed by Fukushima city, is it so smoky? Or just the weather/air conditions? I thought Toohoku is more mountaneous and air clean?

  • Nice trains ;)

  • miss my time in japan with all these train

  • I hope to ride one. Someday.

  • Sweet! ^_^

  • It's like porn for train lovers.

  • cool vid. i love the attention to style the engineers put into those trains.

  • what are they doing i never seen that

  • because all americans care about is their cars and suvs but I don't.

  • why does japan always have stuff that america would not use

  • To answer your question simply: the Japanese are far ahead in their development, technology and self control. Should we call them crazy because we may not understand them? I do not think so, they aare very smart and in fact great people too.

  • Its mainly because americans have city`s much futher apart. So it would cost billions and billions to build a fast train + special track from New York to (example) Los Angeles. Its MUCH cheaper to fly those distances then use the train. Japan has a far more denser population witch makes it more economical to use trains.

  • While distances horizontally are huge, vertical distances on the coasts is not so large. In fact having two north to south high speed tracks, one on the west coast and one on the east coast is certainly realistic.

  • They will perhaps build that in California i believe(california high speed rail). But even there the costs could run into 40+ billion dollars.

  • Aligato!
