@JemenJ oh man I'm so close to calling you an idiot right now. A DJ is not what you think. In the Electronic Dance Music culture a DJ is not just a guy who plays music. It's a producer who produces music and then popularizes it, as well as supporting the whole EDM scene by using his musical influence to go to clubs and let people hear his and his friends' productions.

People who aren't part of the EDM culture think a DJ is just a guy who plays music. Inform yourself before making dumb statements

And let me say that I know many DJ's and few of them have ever even tried to produce something of their own. I know that Buuren, Tiesto, Dash Berlin etc produce their own music and I see them as musicians. But when a idiot buys pair of pioneer decks and starts playing at the clubs within 6 months.... people cheering to that dude makes me sick.
