@1317060 it depends on the battery. The more miliamps the battery has the longer it lasts, and the bigger the voltage, the more power it has. So, with the stock battery (2000 mAh) it has a runtime of about 15-20 mins depending on how you use it. not to sure on the max distance is but the top speed is about 35mph
@hyperjet2000 Yeah the car does suck. It broke within one month (pull starter snapped), the clutch was worn and slipping (causing the car to idle at 15mph), the front shock caps busted off, the steering pins fell out and stripped the front tores bare, and, we could never find any parts for it. Well, it is still good for one thing: A cool looking paperweight!
I use a 3800 mAh battery pack on the redcat tornado epx pro wich will make it go 40 mph, and the battery it came with was only a 2000 mAh wich only makes it go 35 mph.
Would you happen to know the stock needle settings for the vh-x5?
