@shiftdrive81 Is it really? WOW! The writers of "lost" must have known that it would break into three pieces. It's like they predicted the future! Awesome! And cool so many survived
Microbusts are common during a lightning storm and cause airplaines to drop out of the sky short of the runway like the one in Dallas. The data recorder will show if the airplane started to increase speed first and rise then lose speed and drop short of the runway. Did this airport have a microburst detector?
OMG PEOPLE Y DO U KEEP SAYING IS A 737-200 WHEN IT REALLY IS A 737-700NG,A LIGHTNING STRIKE COULDNT BE THE CAUSE OF THE CRASH,IT COULD OF BEEN A WIND SHEAR,A LIGHTNING STRIKE WOULD ONLY LEAVE A DENT ON THE PLANE BUT NOT CAUSE IT 2 CRASH
@xeexxxeex most likely do to the bad weather the plane while landing almost at the runway had a wind shear or a stall and caused the plane to crash,my cuzin is a flight attendent for this company in colombia and lucky she was in reserved, but from my view a wind shear or stall caused the plane 2 crash cause a lightning wont do much damage, might leave a scratch or a dent but the plane will still b able 2 fly normal so lightning is not te cause
@aldeje92 maybe it fried the electronics so they had to do an emergency landing with no gear, then again i thought landing gear is designed to fall down into locking position during an emergency.
its designed to break into three pieces when it crashes
