My dad played this song when I was little on our way up north that ended up the first time he would totally ignore me throughout our limited time together. I have grown up resenting him because of his drinking and lack of being there. When he was he would yell and scold me just to make him look tough in front of his friends. When I didn't play along I was scolded and screamed at. Just tonight he came back from a job he was half drunk and almost sleeping when he started singing this song.
