  • @MrShmeeshmaw * Check the flap under the carapace of the crab, if it is narrow = male, if it is wide = female.

  • I wish everyone followed those guidelines. The Chesapeake lost so many blue crabs cause of people didn't care to follow any guidelines and the aftermath is that the crabs were nearly fished out and those that are still caught are so small.

  • Please leave a couple for us recreational fishers that spend $10,000+ per year to chase these.
