Brthr/sister, When u pray, u shud always keep Allah in ur heart and soul. This is exactly wht our Prophet (s.a.w.s) used to do n taught us. Invoking others besides Allah is Shirk. Praying to "intercessors" to get ur words to Allah is also Shirk n inplies tht Allah doesn't know n hear ur words. Unlike the Christians who invoke Jesus (p.b.u.h) n holy ghost as one shud invoke God alone, we Muslims r told to b very careful in praying to Allah. Peace.

‘When anyone of you makes du’a, let him start by glorifying his Lord and praising Him, then let him send blessings upon the Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam), then let him pray for whatever he wants.’ [Hadeeth by abu Dawud #1481, at-Tirmidhi #3477]

What did I do to deserve to be a Muslim? Although, like most people I complain about how lucky others are, I have never actually considered that I AM THE MOST LUCKIEST PERSON IN THE WORLD because Allah S.W.T has chosen ME! as one of His people, as a MUSLIM! And I have a chance to enter Jannah! What a priviledge! I can never repay back Allah for His kindness and mercy on me.
i dare say this is like my own experiences times i went through.... wondering when someone else duaah was made aameen why not mine.... i had doubts at a time....... this speech really makes me stronger now.. jazakallah...
