  • Sarah Palin's career is literally over. She resigned as governor of Alaska.

  • How can BHL's videos have more views than Chomsky's? Seriously people?

  • Cool guy.

  • il devrait aller trouver un dentiste.. ça doit puer..

  • this guy is a joke!

  • I agree with what hes saying but not with his hair.

  • I think it's hilarious that a frenchman is saying this. And even more hilarious that the same frenchman would go on to say that Palin has horrible politics. Wonder if he's looked around france much lately.

/didn't capitalize instances of france because it just doesn't deserve it.

  • I'm sorry, but whenever I hear a Jew with a heavy French lilt to his voice criticizing any aspect of American politics, I fade off from their words and start to think about what fun it is to roast pumpkin seeds.

  • the zionist boot licker palin is a complete and total idiot. it is obvious that her jewish masters have already told her to forget it even though she has been on her knees a lot trying to kiss any jewish ass that she sees. she is a traitor to her country. we have many traitors in this country. there is only one way to deal with them. the same way george washington did. of course we can continue on babbling about nothing and arguing over mundane points that in reality mean nothing.

  • @katman77018 You must have fallen into a pit of stupid at some point in your life.

  • at his best he is a sayanim. at his worst he is mossad. it doesn't make much difference at this point. knowing what tribe he is a member of answers any lingering questions one might have about his true allegiances.

  • The amount of political ignorance and naïveté demonstrated in the comments here is absolutely staggering. Levy is a great man, and his points here are indisputable.

  • @Jonmad17 indisputable is a strong word. Were you to have said his coat being black and shirt being white was indisputable then yeah, you're right there. But when it comes to his politics it is quite easy to dispute him...

    words matter

  • Bernard-Henri Lévy is worst scum!

  • @WulfBlitzkrieg agreed levy is garbage

  • Bonjour Mr Levy.

SALAH HAMOURI a juste critiqué La constitution Israélienne.

Une constitution qui est basée sur le vol de la terre....

    Alors.....?????

  • Monsieur Levy & others must disabuse themselves of the simplistic fantasy that Americans choose their candidates or elect their leaders. The cabal that owns the Fed & the other Western central banks chooses the candidates and selects the president. Their perverse intention to repeatedly humiliate & demoralize the American people cannot be doubted in light of Reagan, the Clintons, W, & the Obamanation. Palin is the absurdly logical continuation of this series & precursor for Rahm Israel Emanuel.

  • ALL POLITICIANS AND GOVERNMENTS EXIST TO CONTROL YOU!......YOU!

Renounce and condemn corruption as it exists in all governments!

Rampant is the spread of the U.S. model of taxation without representation and it must be stopped!

YOU are considered something akin to livestock by the united states government. YOU are nothing but a cash cow.

All facets of government are corrupt beyond redemption and must be torn down.

Don't believe the lies and conditioning you've been force fed from birth!!!!!!!!!

  • An Anarchists Declaration.

    * I wish no power over you.

    * I wish that you have no power over me.

    * Where I have power over you, I shall seek to renounce it.

    * Where you have power over me, I shall pray that you renounce it, and so long as it be extant, I shall condemn it.

    * Where there are those who would try to give me power over you, I shall denounce them and condemn them.

    * Where there are those who would try to give you power over me, I shall laugh at them and condemn them.

  • * Where you would use force to sustain any putative power relationship over me, I shall condemn you and resist you, and call to my brethren in our struggle against you.

  • * Where a tyrant, a majority, a plurality, or a minority presume to grant you power over me, or over anyone else, I shall condemn it, resist it, renounce it and denounce it.

    * Where there are those who are subjugated beneath the boot heel of power, by “democratic” means or otherwise, I shall support their resistance, their condemnation, their denunciation and their renunciation.

    * I shall make no compromise with evil.

  • You cannot blame George W Bush for his presidency and you cannot blame Sarah Palin for being president in what ever capacity she's capable of if that comes to pass. YOU MUST ONLY BLAME the people of the United States who come to the conclusion that these unqualified people are suitable candidates and in the end the best candidates to be the head of the most powerful nation on the planet. Reaching that decision IS the scariest part of all.

  • @bottleracket Democracy is a mistake and an hypocritical illusion

  • I get his point... but... it's hard not to treat Palin like an idiot. Lets be honest.

  • He is right about the way the press and liberal commentators have treated Palin. I think he unwittingly subscribes to their ridiculous caricature of her views.

  • Poor guy, he suffers from a mental disease called Liberalism.

  • @Dimitrio55 Liberalism essentially means the extension of democracy through legislation. If you are anti liberal, you are anti democractic. Think about that.

  • @incredibleXMan, I refer to the doctrine first coined up by Thomas Hobbes in his book Leviathan in 1651 AD. Democracy of course existed in 500 BC in Ancient Athens. So you can see that Liberalism and Democracy are quite independent of each other.

  • @Dimitrio55 What exactly is your problem with liberalism? A mental disease? Can you explain?

  • @Dimitrio55 Ahhh, no reply for a further explanation. Typical conservative, trying to win the argument on a technicality rather than substance.

  • @incredibleXMan Sorry, I am busy with renovations I will respond in a bit.

  • @Dimitrio55 Lol! I look forward to it. Why are words like liberalism and socialism such bad words now?

  • Vous mettez diz étudiants Français dans une salle, et je vous garanti qu'ils parlent un meilleur Anglais que le sieur BHL...

  • BHL GROS RACISTEBHL GROS RACISTBHL BHL GROS RACISTEGROS RACISTEEBHL GROS RACISTEBHL GROS RACISTE

  • This guy clearly does not have to deal with right wing Americans on a daily basis. I live in Idaho and I want these people mocked into the pavement.

  • C'est un sketch ?? c'est très drôle. On dirait Raffarin avec son accent risible : "the yes need the no, to win against the no".

  • the most conservative, ethnic pure location on earth..........Israel

the people most worried about conservative values in the USA........jews like this guy!

  • @alecrebel lol

  • pourquoi il parle pas Français!!!! Il y a tjs des traducteurs... son accent rend son discours désagréable et incompréhensible...

  • @wida722 I can understand him just fine

  • @hchattington congratulationsl!

  • This sack of shit is a zio-globalist who tries to pass himself of as a "humanist". He and the international cabal of which he is part are out to destroy the four pillars of human identity: (1) the nation state; (2) racial/ethnic identity; (3) the family and (4) religion. They love war and misery on a grand scale! They see you as cattle and will rule you from Tel Aviv, the only nation state they deem worthy of preservation. BEWARE!

  • If someone would go debating rationally with Palin on Darwinism, Bible, Noah's Ark etc., on TV, prime time, I fear that this would almost surely "help" (to speak with BH Lévy) significantly !

    Where is America heading to.

  • a french bluffer.

  • poor inglish language :)

  • His rhetoric leads me to believe he is a pseudo intellectual and besides that his hair and accent are incredibly annoying.

  • Il a une attirant accent! I could listen to him talk all day :) I also agree with him, our news media spends too much time promoting their opinions rather than objectively reporting news events.

  • fucking zionist liars and criminals

  • It's always fun to read people's ideas on politics, especially when they are consisted of simple, childish banter.

  • it'd be like 4-8 years of the office all day everyday

  • good man

  • Au niveau où ce qu'il dit est vrai il n'apprend rien aux américains, et au niveau où c faux c'est minable. À quoi sert son allocution?

  • How much did Palin pay this guy to say this stuff? She will never be president of anything. She thought Africa was a country and believes her ancestors had dinosaur farms. She also said that she would let a imaginary voice in her head guide her during a presidency. No one like that should have access to nuclear weapons. Bush was bad enough and he is a mistake that i doubt Americans will ever repeat.

  • @JabberCT He doesn't know how many states there are in the US, and he IS president! He hates Americans & has had Janet Napolitano declare ex-vets and citizens as "terrorists" but he will not use the term in relationship with any Muslim bombings or murders. He is bankrupting us & is assigning communists czars to rule with impunity. I would vote for anyone else.

  • How much did Sarah Palin pay to Bernard-Henri Levy to say that her politics are terrible?

    I wonder.

  • @deegan45 Well, she was governor. She's stupid and evil enough to be US president, following in Reagan V ("Obama")'s footsteps. What I can't believe is that Levy is smart enough to form words.

  • The US has Sarah Palin, France has Bernard-Henri Levy... she can see Russia from her porch, and he quotes philosophers who never lived. They're both rightwing racist subhuman filth.

  • how does he get his hair to stay that way?

  • Levy is not a philosopher, he is hack and cumpkin. What was he written of philosophical value? What? Thales of Miletus roles in his grave.

    I stress the term CUMPKIN.

  • Im wondering why would anyone want Palin in office, she resigned as governor because she couldnt take the heat of criticism. What makes people think she will not resign as president, its weakness and in times like these we cannot have weak people trying to fix our nation.

  • BHL is the Sarah Palin of intellectuals.

  • @janroucax

Truer words have not been spoken.

  • @janroucax You beat me to it!

  • I reckon American shouldn't overestimate what BHL has to say. He embodies the worst of the French intelligentsia (or what's left of it).

  • @hhold What, did Baudrillard die?

  • To assert Palin "understands" is ludicrous! The woman is a category 5 moron, deceiving, unscrupulous utterly unversed in any of the needful political discourses, but easily trained to utter preposterous lies and to appeal to the basest element of her audience.

  • Ironically, the average moron on the street (like the average French Philosopher) doesn't know that Palin is the only candidate who supported jury rights (of the 4 tyrants who were the officially-sanctioned choices in 2008), and opposed "voir dire" prosecutorial jury selection that renders "trial by jury" ineffectual and meaningless. Palin was the only candidate to understand this, even if she didn't understand that she should have been shouting that from the highest rooftop.

  • Everyone needs to know that BHL is part of sionism movement that promotes only one thing behind all his word. Israel for him is far more important that his french nationality and he will do whatever it takes to get his idea forward.

In fact, he's a poor idiot that doesn't have any philosphy and is part of the pro-israelit losers.

  • Even if Palin doesn't seem intimidating, you have to consider the kind of advisors she'd surround herself with.

  • When she'll be sitting in the white House as president a lot of people are going to be trying to pull their feet out of their mouths...you think that's far fetched..Reagan and

"W" made it in so nothing is impossible.

  • what an awful accent

  • Anyone remember the movie Trading Places with Eddie Murphy? Remember the $1 bet that they could take a brother out of the ghetto and turn him into a Wall Street superstar?

It's my firm belief that the Presidency of George W. Bush was the product of just such a bet. The sad thing that nobody also realizes, Sarah Palin is the "double or nothing" followup bet.

  • @PalemoonSun nice analogy...double down on $carah or GTFO!

  • I know about Segolene Royal, Sarah Palin is no Segolene Royal! Sarah Palin should not be underestimated in her determination to be controlled and manipulated by other people like Bush, in an unashamed attempt to finish off the USA once and for all.

  • The guy is immensely rich from enterprise of precious african wood exploitation. He bought for himself a visibility in medias. He is famous in France to be arrogant, ideologicaly aristocrat, officially socialist.

    "Philosophe" means "who likes wisdom"

    He only likes himself.

Once again, he tries an original posture to get interest, no matter hows lame it is.

  • @felzy22 You're full of it.

  • I think it's more about not underestimating the powerful people behind her. IMO she's just a shill who extends the power of our political pundits by offering catnip to the masses.

  • He says we shouldn't underestimate him and he's probably right. But its so damn hard not to just look at her an bust out laughing!

  • One of our best french humorists! Bravo 33reboot!

  • imperialistic pseudointellectual

  • officier de Tsahal

  • Un officier de Tsahal

  • Beautifuly put. Really well said.

  • Pundits make "middle-american" cracks about her, Bernard, because she makes blatant appeals to Middle America.

P.S. Thanks for buttoning up your shirt.

  • This guy made himself look like a horse's ass by citing a fictional philosopher to support his criticism of Immanuel Kant. He actually read a book entitled "The Sex Life of Immanuel Kant" without realizing it was a spoof. (Hint: Kant had no sex life. He was celibate his entire life and is believed to have died a virgin at the age of 80.) How dense do you need to be?

  • I think Levy needs to stop calling himself a philosopher.

  • is this Botul or what?

  • american people it's time for you to wake up! I'm french and you must know the true about this man . He go to america to say his bullshit because in France everybody is laughing him. A lot of real french philosopher (Pierre Bourdieu, Cornelius Castoriadis...)said that he is stupid and he don't have nothing of a philosopher. He was hit by the most bigger number of pie in his face in france. If you see him in New york, sent him a big cream pie in his face from my part.

  • Absolutely... DO NOT PISS THIS WOMAN OFF!!

  • come on ...laughing on palin was unavoidable...

Even Bernard cant stop ranting about her stupidity

  • Deleuze on BHL : "la pensée nulle"

  • He is talking before Obama started losing in polls.

Bear that in mind when listening to him.

I happen to think that hitting below the belt works.

The mistake Democrats did was not to stick with Hilary.

  • i'm french and in my country 90% of people hate this stupid asshole . henri levy shut your mouth and stop to tell you who is sarah palin Difference between sarah palin and BHL is that sarah palin has more testicle than BHL

  • Boy, is Levy right. Sarah Palin should be allowed to fall of her own weight. The condescencion and derision toward her exhibited by much of the press is even more off-putting and demonstrates the exact kind of smug elitism that attracts people to a Sarah Palin in the first place. But I understand they (the media) can't help themselves.

  • Sarah Palin could very well be the next president. Right now, Obama's poll numbers are extremely low, and she has an awful lot of support from those teabaggers. Prepare to duck for cover, America... Whatever happened to those relatively sensible Republicans?

  • So teabaggers are going to hold the country hostage?

    I'm not buying it.

  • No, no, Sarah Palin is. She's going to hold the teabaggers hostage, too. Nobody's going to come out of this alive.

  • Ah, il a changé de chemise!

  • right..? No

  • Mdrr,un de nos grands comiques français...

  • @33reboot mais il a raison! il est plus intelligent que une partie des Americains! (sorry for bad french)

  • @33reboot Eh oui, un bel export, aussi beau qu'un costume Hermes...

  • look at this crazy frenchman who thinks americans will listen to reason. such an idealist.

  • @SatanicSBA Any average frenchman with the same stubble you'd ask in a street on SP would say the same. Haha, look how he says at 0:22 "And this was a mistake!". BHL or the lifelong story of a clever dick. Bush disgraced the US so much that the media agree to anything French now. 'Might be just a waste of time.

  • Sarah Palin = stone age ====||

  • I work at a French Restaurant in the States and I served this guy once lol. Very nice person.

  • Really? That's a surprise... he's supposed to be a total asshole.

  • Where did you hear he's an asshole?

  • Start by visiting his wiki...

  • @ChadSmith1452 you only have to listen to most of his speechs (in french) and you will understand. this guy is the perfect asshole false-philosopher in love with himself. His speech on youtube to Iranian Youth is typical.

  • hot doo!!

  • I sympathize with this guy's hair. One half of it doesn't seem to know which was is up or down. Mine does the same.

Sarah Palin is last year's joke.

  • BHL,QUEL BATARD!!!

  • This guy gets it.

  • Yes family values, moral responsibility... also tacit racist appeals to poor whites, calling Obama a socialist (which I don't think is a bad thing, but again, she was making a tacit appeal to earn the votes of white trash), etc.

And by the way, I guess her "moral responsibility" doesn't apply to using her office to get her brother- in- law fired from his police job for divorcing her sister, or by giving out sweetheart contracts to the firm that built an addition on her house.

  • Her "family values" came in handy when she let her teenage daughter get knocked up. Don't get me wrong- I think those things happen to everyone, liberal and conservative, so I normally wouldn't judge someone over something like that, but conservatives preach their high and mighty bullshit so they are fair game when someone calls them a hypocrite for not living up to their professed ideals.

  • She never had the intellectual capacity to have made it to the national political stage in the first place, and now she will be relegated to the dustbin of history.

When I see her popping up for TV interviews every now and then I usually laugh at how pathetic she looks (and is), although I do occasionally feel sorry for her that when Cryptkeeper McCain lost the election all the Republicans turned on her and blamed her for his failures.

  • family values are racist what????????

  • lol, she has no moral convictions. This idiot in the clip talks about things he doesn't understand. Sarah Palin is no conservative, she is a radical nationalist. And socalled Neo-cons a far away from convertism, when you look ALONE at their domestic policies.

  • "Sarah Palin's moral convictions"?

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!

  • Dude this guy doesn't realize how petty U.S. politics is

  • il devrait apprendre l'hébreu

  • Definitely agree with some of the remarks he brings up about the politics of Sarah Palin what he doesn't seem to realize is that there is a fine line between personal and political remarks. Case in point: the belief of creationism is as much personal than political, it's impossible to disassociate the two. The idea that Biden was afraid of her is ludicrous also, he played a perfect game on that debate of not engaging straight onto her because of the risk of appearing overly sexist.

  • Bernard-Henri Levy's political insight: 0.

  • Bernard, I agree with you about stopping the sexist remarks - however, as an American, I can tell you that that this mentality of casual sexist remarks is ingrained in the mentality of many Americans and it will not go away for a long time, if ever. It's in the interest of the powers that be that this be so, in my opinion. I think it's good to have a sense of humor, unfortunately, we often have it about the wrong things.

  • (you are obviously a bit lost and a bit desperate)

Is my desperation so obvious from having taken, vague, obscure, generalized statements like - "I am a real Christian that is to say, a disciple of the doctrines of Jesus Christ", and forcibly wrung interpretations that supported my predeterminations?

    (Franklin's contradictions are well known)

Franklin's & others' "perceived" contradictions are why I posted Patrick Henry's words. Doesn't Henry's statement seem to be a contradiction in itself?

  • Comment removed

  • I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, It's a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. Which is what I do, And that enables you to laugh at life's realities. - Dr. Seuss

    Don't knock Dr Seuss.

  • (I like nonsense, Which is what I do, And that enables you to laugh at life's realities.

    - Dr. Seuss

    Don't knock Dr Seuss)

If you went to my YT channel and or blog, and saw my videos. You'd see that "on occasion", I also like nonsense. Your quote from Dr. Seuss is all fine & dandy, but if you think more carefully you'll see I didn't knock Dr, Seuss. Your quote is irrelevant because my point was regarding your having said - "read any book". It was merely to show that from Dr. Seuss - no history

  • Levy ought to conduct a much closer analysis of his own thinking. First he claims that Palins politics R the worst possible. Then, he revealed that the people who subscribe to the opposing politics, can't even muster up an appropriate, constructive, respectable argument. Resorting instead to "hitting below the belt" with sexism & other dishonorable, irrelevant, personal attacks. The things which have always been understood 2 indicate a scoundrels position. Yet, he deems their politics preferable

  • "WOW"! What do you know, Levi actually described Sarah Palins beliefs. Which reveal her to believe exactly the same as did the founders of this country. Considering that they actually achieved a thing so brilliant that people from all over the world poured into the country which they established. Reason has it, that those beliefs are actually conductive of great things. Not just this country, but all of western civilization. Excluding the now widely scorned, transformation produced by other ways

  • No they didn't. Actually most of them believed in evolution. Read a book. Any book.

  • (Actually most of them believed in evolution. Read a book. Any book)

"that all men were "CREATED" equal, and were endowed by their "CREATOR" with certain inalienable rights"

I'm certain that what happened to you, is what happens when one reads simply "any book". Specifics are quite important. Especially when you decide to reply, thus engaging in debate.

If nothing else, understand this - when wishing to know of early American history, reading Dr. Seuss isn't going to help you.

  • As Deists, many of the founding fathers, were emphatically against defining who or what the "CREATOR" might be. If you read 18th c. contemporary accounts describing religious practices similar to the religion of Sarah Palin and the Christian Right, they were considered to be anomalous nut jobs and were marginalized and to be embarrassed for. It seems that you are too selective in your reading on early American History. Franklin and Jefferson might be a good start for you.

  • In the beginning of the contest with Britain, when we were sensible of danger, we had daily prayers in this room for Divine protection. Our prayers, Sir, were heard, and they were graciously answered. Do we imagine we no longer need His assistance? - Benjamin Franklin [Constitutional Convention, Thursday June 28, 1787]

  • Thanks for turning me on to that. You won't believe what I found. Actual, historical documents in which pretty much all the founders made Sarah Palin look more like a hippie. A pretty one. Apparently, the founders didn't know too much about the constitution because they said unconstitutional things like - "In Americas schools, private & public, Christianity should be taught above all things". I guess nobody told them that you can't even say the pledge of allegiance - "nation under God".

  • "I am a Christian in the only sense in which He wished anyone to be: sincerely attached to His doctrines in preference to all others"

"I am a real Christian that is to say, a disciple of the doctrines of Jesus Christ"

    - Thomas Jefferson

It cannot be emphasized too clearly and too often that this nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians, not on religion but on the gospel of Jesus Christ"

    - Patrick Henry

OK, I went to learn of Franklin & Jefferson. I even found bonus ones.

  • (many of the founding fathers, were emphatically against defining who or what the "CREATOR" might be)

The creator of what? Modern, revised history books? I think so, they couldn't possibly know who it would be.

Regarding your statement - ("emphatically against defining who") I searched & searched for anything that specifically spoke of "emphatically". Or "emphatically" stated anything with an emphasis on the relevant subject of our discussion. All I found in 5 min was Patrick Henry's quote

  • Keep searching, you are obviously a bit lost and a bit desperate. Franklin's contradictions are well known which is why I suggested you start with him. History is never fixed in stone - it is revised constantly. If you are satisfied with 5 minutes of research; then you and I have very little to discuss. You would do well to calm down a little and read for a few more years. If you read history, or the bible, looking only for corroboration of your beliefs; then that is all you will find.

  • He speaks against religion but in favor of Christianity. This is not a contradiction but a view held by Christians even today. That religion is one thing(false-man made) & Christianity is another. The founders had the same view which is why one will find quotes where they speak negatively of religion. Atheist secular humanists have taken those quotes to mean that "religion" includes Christianity. Henry's quote clarifies this & it explains why Franklin & Jefferson seemed to contradict themselves

  • He says that attacking Palins gender was a mistake, but then he attacks her religion beliefs (despite the fact that USA is a very Christian country). What an asshole!

  • What you mean with "religion beliefs"? Palin was trying to impose her religious views onto others. I would call that an asshole, because honest people do not attempt to put religion into politics.

Or is God guiding Sarah Palin?

  • But this guy is not saying: "Sarah Palin should not impose her religion beliefs onto other". He is simply mocking of her because she believes in Creationism.

  • I maintain what I wrote before. Ive listen to him again and he is simply speaking of Creationism in a pejorative way, and also bashing the literal interpretation of the scriptures. Thats not something to be done with anyone. You may believe in the content of the Bible or you may not, but you cant mock those who believe (or who dont believe).

  • Actually, I openly mock people who believe the bible is the literal truth, especially because there is an absence of supporting evidence for their beliefs.

  • There is also an absence of supporting evidence confirming that the Bible IS NOT true. There are just theories. Have you been here when the earth was created. As you see, my dear tednugentsghost, you are so irracional as I am.

  • He doesn't think it would be wise for Creationism to be taught as though it were as true as science. Creationism is a belief NOT FACT.

  • That's not what a theory means in a scientific sense. A theory is an idea which always remains tentative because more information could come along which could dispute it. But that doesn't mean that nobody is sure that it happened. To the contrary, if there is enough evidence, and the predictions that the theory turn out to be validated, the theory is considered to have enormous weight behind it.

So saying that evolution is a "belief" because it's a theory is just wrong. It's not taken on faith.

  • When the inquisition returns we will burn you

  • Good, I'll bring the marshmallows.

  • hahaha

  • you = scientific inculture

  • I am a scientist, believe it or not

  • I choose not.

  • me too

  • Yes maybe. But you're not a paleonthologist. Today it's impossible to think evolution mechanism is wrong, because you can prove it. For example you can think to bacteria and antibiotic meds resistance. Very simply, natural mutations (and all DNA exhange mechanisms, etc) create diversity, and few cell resist better than others. That's why a new direction is conditioned by environment. I just talk about selection mechanism.

After, science can't explain itself. Scientists can practise a religion
