@mikigirl16 probs becasue when you get a new dog its over whelming for them to see the whole house (also the pee everywhere) so you have them take naps in the cage so they arent so over whelmed also you know were they are and you know there not peeing on you carpet. we keeped my dog in a little pen when we got here and then we slowly showed her the rest of the house

I have the same exact dog, toy poodle, same color & all. Although my Prince is 9, hes still my precious puppy =)

Just a few Friendly tips. Poodles are extremely high maintenance. They require:

-daily brushing to prevent the hair from getting tangled & matted.

-weekly baths at home, shampoo & condition.

-& a professional grooming, full hair cut every 6-8 weeks is necassary.

on the plus side, they dont shed, therefore hypo-allergenic! ((HUGS))

@vanityrae83 wow i must have gotten it easy! i have a mini poodle and her hair never matts some times behind the ears but not offten and she really hates baths so we tend to only do it when needed. we do get her groomed every 4-6 weeks though. my puppy looked like that to when she was little but has lightened over time and is now more cream colored but still beautiful!
