Hmmmm....I figure that he might have made the whole thing up, with the support of his workmates, because he religiously believed in UFOs and aliens and wanted to get the public to believe in them too. Its a bit like when religious people tell stories about encounters with God that probably didn't really happen, but they feel that, for the sake of their religion, they should tell these stories to encourage people to believe in their god.

The theory about rigging up a fake ufo doesn't add up. They said that a light beamed down on Travis. My theory is that he actually had this experience, and is just simply trying to get his story out so that people who also have the same experience can relate and realize that they aren't crazy. Of course to most people this will sound crazy and they won't believe it until they see it for themselves.

It seems there is a controversy over whether or not Travis even had any interest in UFOs before his experience. His brother claims he did, but Travis denies it. Travis Walton is 100 percent genuine. This man had something so out of the normal happen to him that he probably wishes he could just go back to his pre event life.
I think he is brave and has my respect totally.

The crews poly tests are impressive but there's just not enough hard evidence. It's a strange one - potentially a brilliant lie though.

The Travis Walton Case is a complete hoax....He lied about the abduction because he had a contract to cut logs for the government and he was behind the agreed time to do the job...So he made up an excuse, the abduction, in order to justify the delay...He had told his mother days before the alleged abduction, that if were ever abducted by a UFO, that he would be OK and not to worry......He also failed a lie detector test given to him about being taken aboard the UFO..
