a man with a saleen s7 blew an engine 4 times in 4000 miles. that 1000 on an engine. yes it would beat the 911 but tune it to 750hp and im sure it would last more than 1000 miles

God I love the look of that car! Many people hate it for the exact reason I LOVE it. It looks COMPLETELY different from any other sports car out there. Like not even CLOSE to anything else. Everyone else is some sort of Ferrari knock-off. A 911 is one of a kind and always will be.

god bless you for not using the word tuned but modified. it's amazing how many people think that upgrading parts is tuning. every car you've ever driven is tuned people. maybe not modified, but definitely tuned. or it just wouldn't run.

yes tuning and modified are much different you cant MODIFY A CAR (upgrade parts heads headers cams etc) and not tune it TUNING (has to do with the computer settings)

Apparently Techart removes the stock turbos and installs bigger ones. Does anyone know if their system incorporates VGT technology? Also, how come Evoms' system, which does not upgrade the turbos, cost half the price of Techart's system and offers more performance (with 610 hp)? I think twenty-nine thousand dollars for Techart's engine upgrade alone is a little steep. Even if you have the money to spend, why would spend more on a kit that offers less?

Read the current issue of Road & Track. The TECHART system is vastly superior. It uses all-German VGT technology. It dynos at 610hp. 580hp is w/o cats, 600hp w/ cats is declared for TUV purposes (declared hp MUST be delivered in Germany. Tuners & manuf. under-declare to compensate for tolerances) The car dynoed at 609 hp but more important is 614 ft-lb of torque at 3000 rpm! 11 sec 1/4 mile at 127mph! Smooth and drivable.
