@Summer1736 I made it and I didn't put lavender oil. It just adds a scent thats why :] unless you want it to have a scent. :D just wanted to tell you that.

You can use this once a week for exfoliating and also daily? My facial skin is very sensitive and my pores have started to stay open ever since I started exfoliating it (I exfoliate twice a week). What am I doing wrong?

@haliemackenzie I wouldn't recommend using that. It can leave the skin extra oily. Because you are using 1/2 a cup. I don't think even if you lower the amount. But just to make sure, check with a pro...hopes this helps!

@haliemackenzie No, never us that. it's carcinogen (cause cancer) never put mineral oil, or petroleum either. Olive oil is good.

It doesn't dissolve. It's there to exfoliate. Sugar doesn't dissolve in oil, only in water. So, it will last a long time until there's no more.
