  • God why do morons in the crowd even try to sing this? Jesus.

  • God says "I dunno, I don't exist. Don't ask me." some with a screen name of damnDJ, has a real name of Jesus? How unusual...

  • @damndj becuse they're having a good time? maybe?

  • Bet they're glad he didn't play Unintended :D

  • what downhill from this, like v festival headline? wembley...? that kinda of downhill yeh?? they are not as frenetic on stage, well matt isnt, but they havent had the 'fun drained out of them'

  • their shows nowadays are good because of their instrumentation. Everything Matt and the others do on stage now is completely rehearsed. I'll bet you any money Matt had already planned to get on his knees to play the solo before he started the song.

  • 'Rehearsed'? They play these songs gig after gig... do you think they're dance artists, choreographed to perfection? No. I think it's more logical that after doing songs over and over, you become accustomed to doing certain things.

  • Not really, almost every version of Showbiz in the old days seemed totally random. Matt always played something different on the verse after the first chorus, had different versions of the solo up his sleeve, mixed it up with the falsetto, and above all, played the killer Ashamed outro (and Dom would ony get loud when Matt started playing it, which is whenever Matt chose to). Now I don't think Matt really feels the song anymore, which is why he doesn't mess around with it anymore.

  • That's ridiculous! If Matt "doesn't feel the song" anymore, why play it? I would speculate that it's hard to continue being creative with a song you must have played a 1000 times. Play it straight and spice up a different song.

  • I'm sure he thinks it's a good song, but he doesn't identify with it anymore. You can tell by his vocals, he's not really letting loose with it. And your "speculation" makes no sense; it should only get easier to change things up on a song the longer you play it.

  • Your speculation makes even less sense. Do you know Matt Bellamy? Then why do you continue to suggest that you know exactly what he thinks about this song? My speculation was one possible explanation, to counter your obsessive "he doesn't identify with it" opinion. And it does make sense if you play a song 1000 times. Some songs get changed about, some don't - they switch around which ones they change.

  • It's pretty easy to tell if someone cares about what they're singing or not.

  • You're a fool. If they didn't want to play it, they wouldn't have to. That simple. Making suggestions about how anyone, other than yourself feels, is rude and arrogant.

  • have u ever thought he wasnt able to do it the same because falsetto damages your voice?

you know hes never going to be able to get it BANG ON like he used to, that'd be impossible. and they're not as young and wild as they were. this song rarely gets played live and its my all time favourite. so dont go saying "its all rehearsed" and what not, because in all honesty i dont think it matters, i just think the fact he played such a rare song live is enough

  • 0.18 COME ON! haha

  • God I hope MUSE come back to Eden on their possible Autumn tour! I havn't seen them yet (I'm 14) and I REALLY wanna get a chance to see them live...

  • They won't this year.

  • Oh, I suppose it is too late for them to get a gig at eden sessions 09... shame there isn't really anywhere else in Cornwall to play...

  • lol, course mate...

  • i am a fan of the old albums, and, yes they are still awsome and still as fresh as they ever were, your opinion though dude, not gunna argue lol

  • dude. no. BH&R did not drain the fun out of them. Muse are one, if not the, greatest live band in the world, and that has never changed. plus they are always fun when they play live, every person who has ever seen them will tell you that.

  • thanks for the link (~FeelingMUSEd on ML)

  • was gutted i couldn't get tickets for this gig. Have seen a few bands here and what an amazing venue it is. To see Muse there would be the creme de la creme.

  • this is prolly my favorite song

  • this song is so amazingly brilliant, it tops KOC and the entire BH&R album

  • better than wembley pffffffft

i was at wembley where you?

  • Hahaha - that's me shouting Unintended... how very embarassing... That's my girlfriend shouting it afterwards.

Which idiot said it wasn't a Muse song? Muppet...

Amazing gig - better than Wembley was. soooooo close to Matt.... hehehe....

  • Better than Wembley?

I was at the front for both. Wembley was better. Eden was intimate.

  • To be honest, i'm happy i went to Eden and not Wembley, Wembley is them making it huge whereas Eden is them coming home and possibly the best gig venue in England.

  • I went to both. Wembley was far better.

  • i think eden was amazing.. much better than wembley! eden a very small venue i think they felt more comfortable than wembley as you never hear matt say anything in the microphone normaly, he usualy says something when the crowd are going mental so you can't hear him :P

  • Er.. it's all about where you are. I was at the front both times and Wembley was better.

    Eden isn't a small venue - it has a capacity of 1200 - that isn't a small number.

  • hehe well compared to wembley it is :P.. i was a front at eden and wembley was seating but very close.. eden was just ermm immense:D felt the right place for them to play :)

  • Compared to most gigs I've been to, it isn't :P

I was stood at Wembley and I'd say it was better. I know people who went to both who agreed with me as well. So.. :P

  • hehe im not gonna argue, its ur opinion :P

  • Which just so happens to be fact :P

  • yer right.. lol

  • I'm glad we finally agree that I'm right :P

  • i have'nt agreed lol..

  • Muserockeruk (7 hours ago)

    yer right.. lol

and great video filming, you must be very near matt!!

  • before they brought it back in 2007, unintended had also been played on electric... go watch Hullabaloo

  • and? What's your point?

  • >.>

I think it was me shouting unintended. lol!

I was stood right there anyways! Amazing vid, thankyou!

  • To the guy who said its not a muse written song - have you even looked in the album sleeve? it's not that hard to be honest...

  • i hope the people who were shouting unintended realise muse didnt write the song lol.

  • Yes they did...

  • UNINTENDED!

    lawl.

Cracking vid though and a great gig, this was def the highlight of my night, the one Muse song I was hoping to hear.

  • lol, i was there too, jumping somewhere in the middle :D

  • The best night of my life. Not only was i front row level with matt.b, but all my friends made it too + i got matt's setlist after the gig ended. Unbelievable. I almost died from exitement when plug in baby started. Undecribable.

  • dude nice filming skills, such an awesome gig, i nearly exploded wen they played showbiz :D
