This is a magnificent song. The fact that the narrator lived through the apocalypse and is still thankful for what he has is both tragic and beautiful.
Although I dislike any concert broken up like this, the way they put the two shows together on the dvd is great. The magic-marker-cigarette title sequences provide some very funny commentary (such as the 20-second version of Deanna). That obnoxious rain of cigarettes is fantastic. I'm surprised how well they took it.
I believe this is the best song I've ever heard
