  • My Dalmatian smiled all the time, even when he was 19 with back problems he still smiled! As for the blue eyes = deafness. Cletus (who was my Dal) was going blind and somewhat deaf from birth. He had destemper and parvo at the same time, so I think that may be the reason.

  • I love that terrifying smile :)

  • She's not smiling, she's snarling.

  • I had a female pure bred dal for 15 years and she smiled all the time.

  • We too have a blue eyed female Dalmatian, she does not have the signature Dalmatian smile but is absolutely beautiful anyway. The Europeans dont like the blue eyes, but if we ever get another one, blue eyes are on the top of the priority list.

  • you are just asking to get a deaf dog, dear.

  • omg her smile+blue eyes= cute evil dog thats sooo cute, i want a blue eyed dalmatian!

  • hahaha. my german shephard i had when i was little used to smile when we asked. all ya had to say was smile for me and she'd bust out her pearly whites! sooo cute.

  • My dal Faith smiles all the time too. I have had dals for 30 years and all but one have smiled. Faith is always waiting for me at the tops of the stairs when I come home from work, she always greets me with smiles and her happy dance! :)

  • I get the happy dance at the top of the stairs too and he also turns his ears so we can see underneath! Very cute

  • WTFFF did u guys hear her bones omg 0:06

  • omg

  • silly that was her tail hitting the chair

  • No. Dalmatians actually do smile. Other dogs who grow up with Dalmatians also sometimes learn it. Notice how she is just showing her front teeth for a second, not growling, wagging tail fast, stretching, and reaching for the human. If she was mad, all of that would look very different. Very nice dog!

  • Dalmations always smile when they're around someone they love :)

  • this IS my happy face!

  • its true they do smile like that .. i had a dalmation for 10 years & now have a lil puppy.. the puppy dont smile yet but my gorgeous girl did when we had her.. people think they are being agressive as they show their teeth but its the cutest thing ever!

    beautiful dog ^^

  • Dalmatians are the best. I love coming home from work cause i always get the biggest smiles from mine.

  • She did it without the camera too but I can't show that because......I would have to have a camera to show you.

  • lol, evil smile.

  • Dalmatians are love. <3

  • She's beautiful! I love her darling smile :)

  • Lol Its saying piss off

  • its looks more angry then smiley but still a funny vid! 5/5

  • my dog does this too! but shes never aggressive about it, she'll start licking you and wagging her tail while she's doing it.. i wonder why they do this.

  • that is so cute, my sister's rottwieler smiles just like that. Beautiful eyes.

  • my dalmation sydney does this as well! its only when she just wakes up :)

  • Wonderfull!

    Great vid!

  • All Dalmatians smile/laugh like this, when they are happy or/and submissive, some more then others. Mine have big broad smile followed by a big laugh. When u se this from a Dalmatian you have nothing to fear on the contrary, it means the dog is happy and secure. On the other hand like my dad says, "if you see that from my dogs they are gonne bite you" ,(he have 3 Dobermans)

And Dalmatian is spelled Dalmatian NOT Dalmation...

  • we have a dalmatian but i have never seen him smile, i knew they did this but i dont know why ours dosnt, he just wags his tail, hes brown eyed though

  • No, not "all" dalmatians smile.

  • very cute, beauatiful dog. If I saw this dog "smiling I might move back a little.

  • hmmm most blue eyed dalmations are deaf. But wanda is very pretty!

  • Your dog looks so beautiful and is extremely happy. Sweet

  • thing looks like somthing from resident evil 0.0

  • ah ah ah xD

I've a dalmatian too, and she used to smile like this. But I think like you ^^

So I don't understand the -3 for your comment.. I found you funny Oo

  • Blue eyed = blind by birth? Or not? If not I'm getting a blue eyed for sure.

  • Blue eyes usually equal deaf. Wanda had two blue eyes with no hearing problems (she was selectively deaf - she only heard what she wanted to hear lol) but she had two double blue eyed male pups and they were both deaf.

  • @tucco1959 I think every dalmatian suffers from selective hearing. I used to have a dal and she was good but hard headed lol.

  • @tucco1959 It's because blue eyes in most breeds of dog are caused by a genetic deffect.

  • wow thats crazy! what a coincidence.

  • OMG my dalmatians name is also Wanda! i got it off "A fish Named Wanda".. lol

  • That is exactly where my Wanda got her name. Her AKC name was A Fish Called Wanda.

  • LOL!

  • Where did she get the blue eyes? Shes cute.

  • Blue is an AKC acceptable color in Dal eyes.

  • she looks evil!!! lol

  • hehe mine do that! lovely dalmatian!

  • looks happy. i see some resemblence to the end of "predator" tho

  • What a wonderful smile she has, mine only "smarls" when she's really excited, like when I get home.

  • god thats scary
