I've got a few fields like that outside where I live that link into the south downs (beautiful hill range in south east England) and it's great to take the dog for a walk on a Sunday morning. I think it's important for the soul to do a bit of that.
I just subscribed to Rob's channel and I'm going through all his making do videos now, pretty inspiring.
Yeah they stink like a bad phart. We make crop circles in these. The pollen poo gets all over you and sets off my havfever like a badboy. At night the plants look pink on camera for some strange reason. Its not a white balance issue...
Nice video Bobby. The oilseed fields look stunning when in full bloom and are very fragrant. But, have you noticed how they begin to stink something terrible as the seed pods are ripening and especially after harvest?!!
i was just thinking, you said you had money difficulty's even though your making do, mabey you've got a yin-yang balence thing going on, your doing a good thing by saveing money, but it's being balenced out by you lossing money.
But you do realise that BBC actors get paid very, very little compared to US ones, right? British actors and comics who don't break America never earn that much money. Sure, they have a bob or two, but they aren't as wealthy as you might expect (by US standards).
you have a point but i'd rather be the kind of famous that rob here is rather than like brad pitt famous or something, too much publicity, i wouldn't be able to handle it!!
That's THE thing I hate about summer; I have rapeseed allergy. Nothing like a hot summer day in the country, riding along on a bike, through a rapeseed field... MIGRAINES.
Wash your shoes and they are as new. Or so my grandmother said.
Hang on Bobby Llew, hope you won't have to sell the Starbug. Sounds like you may have an allergy problem instead of a cold. Hope to see lots more of you and perhaps hear some good RD news.
I've never heard of this oil seed before, but thinking about it there are patches of yellow like that in some fields near where I live. Interesting...
Howdy Bob, Your video updates are like welcomed letters from an old friend. That is if ones old friend happens to be a comedic genius/faimly man/dog lover.
It's very difficult to enjoy a nice walk on a sunday morning when the land around one's house is surrounded by oil seed and just the sight of it makes one sneeze. The worldwide production of rapeseed rose to 46.4 million metric tons in 2005 and is rising! The yellow blur will continue.
very beautiful background Bobby thank you for keeping us youtubers posted. I'm sorry you are having money troubles I know how that is at least it is making it easier for you to make do lol keep up the good work Bobby you are doing great
I always get a funny look when I say I'm allergic to rape. Hayfever, you know.

that sucks, not spending any money only to have financial troubles. I bet if you do this for another year, you will have the opposite result

It's difficult to believe that such a successful actor/comedian/presenter etc etc - should have any money problems.

its also called Rapeseed, and its pollen makes my summer miserable, hayfever ;(

Also known as rapeseed/canola/whatever.
terrorbite 4 years ago
Yes, but I just don't like the term rapeseed. It just sounds wrong. Canola is okay, oil seed is what it's about, so I call it that
bobbyllew 4 years ago
That field looks beautiful, especially against the blue sky.
