Yes, that would be funny. However, the impact area was about 1800 yards by 3000 yards with a 500 foot back stop. Access to the impact area was secured on western and eastern approach. However, Ed tells us every shoot about rounds dropping on the other side of the back stop near a rancher. Beyond that back stop was miles and miles of lava and open grassland. No one injured.

Dry Creek was a yearly event since the mid 70's. 2003 was the final official shoot by the original producers. Those guys now hold two shoots a year on property on the other side of the state. I've heard some of the shooters from the Dry Creek group still return to SP Crater in a smaller gathering.

This footage is from the 2003 Dry Creek Machine-gun shoot held north of Flagstaff, Arizona. The video from 2003 was for the shooters only, not for sale. But time has marched on and it's now here for whatever it's worth. After this shoot, Dry Creek dissolved and formed MG Shooters LLC which hosts the Big Sandy shoot near Wikieup, Arizona.
