I am very proud of this video, It shows the contributions the Latinos have made in the republican party. I think this is one of the positive videos I have seen since W. left the white house. I wish the Republicans were more positive towards immigrants including those who are here illegally. Thumbs up to Michael Steele! Now if the Republicans will do something about immigration that will legalize some but not all undocumented immigrants they will have my vote for a decade or more.
I understand if people do not agree with Republican politicians. But only if they know that it is the conservative values that made and make this country great, they will probably be republicans, too, and perhaps, create a whole new breed of conservative Americans. And since America is great, we, from other countries, come to stay. If we don't like the values of America, then why are we here? Don't we want the same great America for our children and grandchildren?

Every month is white pride month until there is more equality. It's not wrong for people to try to reach out in the community to gain support for equality.
I applaud the RNC, even if opportunistic, to show some kind of appreciation for diversity.
Also, you can criticize Obama but the point is that there is underlying racial animosity at the heart of many complaints.

I didn't have enough space to include this so I should've replied to myself. Since you ask.
When people have signs that say "The zoo has an african lion and the white house has a lyin African" then I think there is at least some moderately if not unintentionally racist ideology floating around.
Rush and Glenn Beck are not alone in pushing the racism/reverse racism angle.
BTW, your comment seriously made me LOL because of it's implication as well as the SNL type comedic imagery.

Your response was fair, thank you. Yes in the USA small group of folks will not vote for black man on the other side of the coin a small group of folks voted for Obama because he is black. Racism goes across all people groups, only white people are made to feel bad about it. The lyin African is a bad hurtful joke, just like the hurtful and hate filled jokes about Bush. Unless calling Bush a peckerwood is not hate filled.

I don't think the people who voted for him are out waving those ignorant signs. I don't trust the polls at all. These are the same pollsters who said Obama and McCain were neck and neck in Pennsylvania during the election and Obama beat him by over 10 percentage points. They also knew months before the election that Obama was going to win but for ratings made it look like a close race. They are doing this now.
