Ehm, i just want to remind the lots of the lyrics and the intent of this folk song. Undoubtably preformed perfectly by young Declan here. But when this song is played it fills me with great sadness, so heartrending, yet so beautiful. Written by an irishman to his son as he knew his time soon were to come. Do listen to the words at some point as well, not thinking about who's singing.

Yes, Danny Boy is certainly a melancholy song. I've listened to and read the words one by one and I understand the heartrending message in the song.
