yes they are pretty much the same except for the troublesome scurity advisor... in windows 7 the security is self controlled and much easier to use and configure...

I had no problems installing windows 7 and all my drivers worked on it and my mp3 files didnt get corrupted like they said it would... but it has got bugs in it some of the programs dont work...thats easly fixed just get it from vista...make sure u have vista installed in ur pc... windows 7 is almost the same as vista thats why u can can use the programs that dont work on windows 7 from vista... oh yeah and most of my software dont work on it yet I have to wait untill they upgrade them to 7.
