@alfimon You can't wish for Obama's success (claiming he hasn't had any) AND support the obstructionist Party of NO, can you?
How do you like the Republican plan of voter suppression? What's your "white wash spin" on that one? Picture IDs to eliminate the already non-existing "impersonation" problem at the voting booths. Nice way of saying "you need to pass a test first, because we don't think you're fit to vote...you just don't look right".
Now sit back and gleefully listen to the deafening silence of the very same GOP that scrutinized Obama for not being strong enough on national security following the death of Osama Bin Laden on his authorization. Now they have a better idea of knowing their place.
In the meantime while their dicking around, special forces kills osama bin laden on the "ok" of Obama. No word on how that might offend Palins children.
lol, what do you want to hear from Biden? that Palin sucks? That she is an idiot that should never have a chance of being President! We all know that, so their is no point for Biden making a statement!
Mccain was not a bad candidate until he ran for presidency, he changed his views drasticll the closer he tried to get like the republican base. thats when he lost touch of americans.
I doubt McCain has control of his own campaign anymore. The campaign to Elect John McCain as president has officially been taken over by bigots and extremists, especially since Sarah Palin was chosen. He can't denounce them, nor can he do anything else except ride this to the election. I really do feel sorry for him.
I think you are right. I think this has totally gone out of control. Palin has gone rogue and the campaign went from Obama's inexperience to this tripe. I'm sure when this campaign is over there's going to have to be a lot of patching up in the RNC....as this goes down in history as one of the most dispicable campaigns in american politics.
it's really about the culture of fear and hate. there will always be assholes who thrive on the rhetoric of division. and let it be a warning to us all. the nazi's were a minority in germany, that through forceful rhetoric of hate and division became extremely powerful and destructive.
it is easier to defeat using divisive tactics, and harder to be defeated when working as a community.

I agree that Ayers is a respected educator--yes he still can teach a young person how to make a really nasty pipe bomb.
If you think that being a college professor is a badge of distinction, you haven't been on a college campus for years. They get paid well and never show up for class.
Al Capone was a good person the last 10 years of his life while sitting in jail and that is were Ayers would have been if it hadn't been for a stupid illegal wire tap and the statue of limitation.
Unless a lot has changed since December of 2003, when I graduated college, I think that Professors still tend to show up for class. I can remember only one time in 4 years that my professor didn't show up, and that includes during the daily thunderstorms that hit us in New Orleans.
Being a respected author of children's books, being on the board of the Annenberg Foundation, being named Chicago citizen of the year...those are clearly signs of good.
Anyone that would quote Time Magazine needs psychiatric help. Time and fiction are synonymous. The only thing Time does that can be believed is the 3am infomercial hawking old records.
It's amazing how DUMB most GOP supporters are. Ayers is a respected educator (distinguished professor at the University of Chicago) and a highly educated man who has never injured or killed a person and was only a radical because of the inequality of rights between whites and blacks. He has been a good citizen for almost 30 years. PATHETIC. What about Palin and her husband's support for Alaskan Secession?
Exactly! Well said Lefty. Ayers used to be a radical bomber, but he's a rehabilitated Professor in a University. It's ashame they can't let go of the past.

What makes you think McCain isn't in control of his own campaign? Of course he is. You just don't want to believe that he is really that despicable.
frellthat 3 years ago 2
Maybe he is a complete asshole. He just doesn't seem to be running the same campaign he ran in the primaries, or in 2000.
Maybe the campaign changed him.

I'd like to know what college you went to, because at the University of Washington, my professors always showed up for class.

It's statute of limitation, not statue.
