I find it interesting that the fact this game isn't on xBox is nothing personal. The xBox 360, once it got over it's design flaw is a wonderful system. I'm more of a PS3 person, but I say that from the bottom of my heart. Great games and great online capability. But what people fail to see, is that the xBox does not have the hardware to take on a game like this. Not without a serious downgrade. It might see rerelease on the xBox 720. I can see that. But not the 360

Do you really think that a big company such as Kojima's will take time to downgrade MGS4 for the Xbox 360? Xbox 360 owners are probably not even waiting for that. If you're a real MGS fan you would just buy a PS3 for Metal Gear Solid 4 and an Xbox 360 for Metal Gear Rising.

MGS4 on a Blu-Ray disc is about 58.4GB of compressed data. You have to wait about 10 minutes for each of the four chapters to install, so uncompressed it would be approximately 114GB. No way in hell this could be fully ported to the 360, although I couldn't really care less about the graphics as long as the core gameplay, controls, etc, made it.

If there was absolutely no console exclusivity, then the PS3 would automatically win the stupid "Console War", because of it's beefier hardware. By supporting anything being exclusive to any console, you're rotting away your own goal to have your console win.
@JoshCraighead There are really only 2-3 good xbox exclusives, Halo, Fable, and Gears (Gears is a maybe as I personally didnt like it all that much). Ps3 has Mag, twisted metal, killzone, resistance, Uncharted, MGS4, Socom, and I can go on... I wish people would stop rubbing halo in my face as they have done it ever since the 360 came out. Halo is an ok game but not what 360 fans should be basing their arguments about which system is better on. Its all basically a bunch of hype and ignorance.

And fyi, not arguing, it would be more like 7-ish. discs which, for me wouldnt be a problem if they packed it right because I actually take care of my discs, but some people can barely take care of one (believe me ive seen pretty bad discs). I do not like multiple discs (i hated even 2 discs for C&C generals but thats just me) ;)

By watching the trailers on here, I think that Rising is going to be between 2 and 4. It has rose and everybody in it. And, Snake is still in battle. If you remember, at the end of the 4th one, we all assumed he had quit, but in Rising, there was a trailer I watched that had Snake telling him to not follow him because he still had something to live for or something. Either way, this game is going to be EPIC!! They better have it for XBOX or I will DIE!!!

what every happed to doing more with less. developing game within constraints leads development teams to create more efficient ways to produce media any body can make and 700mb movie file full up an hard drive if encoded improperly most of metal gear 4's bulk is video which can be down sampled or stored on the hard drive beside disc media distribution is going away DLC is the future and xbox 360 is set up for that future quite well. i would not be surprised if 1TB drives are in XB 360's future.

a kind of rumor to e3 2011. MGS Rising is going to be there. but a fact is that Kojima is going to come up whit 2 new games there. and the rumor are that one is MGS 5 and the other a sequel to a old game.
so maybe we get MGS5. but solid snake wont be in it caus at this point he is dead i think.

If there was absolutely no console exclusivity, then the PS3 would automatically win the stupid "Console War", because of it's beefier hardware. By supporting anything being exclusive to any console, you're rotting away your own goal to have your console win.

@JoshCraighead There are really only 2-3 good xbox exclusives, Halo, Fable, and Gears (Gears is a maybe as I personally didnt like it all that much). Ps3 has Mag, twisted metal, killzone, resistance, Uncharted, MGS4, Socom, and I can go on... I wish people would stop rubbing halo in my face as they have done it ever since the 360 came out. Halo is an ok game but not what 360 fans should be basing their arguments about which system is better on. Its all basically a bunch of hype and ignorance.

@Benem3000 Dude, the systems both have their pros and cons, their benefits and limitations. In my opinion, they're largely the same. And I'll be honest, even if MGS4 had to be a 5-disk set to be on Xbox 360, I would still play it. :P

And fyi, not arguing, it would be more like 7-ish. discs which, for me wouldnt be a problem if they packed it right because I actually take care of my discs, but some people can barely take care of one (believe me ive seen pretty bad discs). I do not like multiple discs (i hated even 2 discs for C&C generals but thats just me) ;)

By watching the trailers on here, I think that Rising is going to be between 2 and 4. It has rose and everybody in it. And, Snake is still in battle. If you remember, at the end of the 4th one, we all assumed he had quit, but in Rising, there was a trailer I watched that had Snake telling him to not follow him because he still had something to live for or something. Either way, this game is going to be EPIC!! They better have it for XBOX or I will DIE!!!

what every happed to doing more with less. developing game within constraints leads development teams to create more efficient ways to produce media any body can make and 700mb movie file full up an hard drive if encoded improperly most of metal gear 4's bulk is video which can be down sampled or stored on the hard drive beside disc media distribution is going away DLC is the future and xbox 360 is set up for that future quite well. i would not be surprised if 1TB drives are in XB 360's future.
