Sheila's third album was not as catchy as her first two albums, but the songs that were good were AWESOME. This is one of them ! LOVED "Wednesday like a river", "Hold me" and "Faded photographs" as well. She looks good with those glasses, by the way !

Love On A Blue Train was all the way Dream Factory style in music and drum sounds, production! I think the album was suppose to coincide stylistically with DF. Opening track was super Funky too!

Pure Camille Funk right here! Except Sheila was singing. I love this style in Prince's music, with the orchestral hits and strange aquatic-y effects mixed in with the hi-hats. Its that whole dark futuristic, forward moving Peach & Black Funk, its intense. Upto this point it was all Atomic Dog/Super Freak Funk but this, oh man, this was pushing it to the beyond, everybody jam!

Beakerinnetje - this was the Sign O The Times/Camille look, thats where they were. Its a rawer more urban, creative Funk look. Probably the last of the great Funk movements if you can call it. The Funk was sparse, frightening and not meant for mass consumption, it was discarding, maybe trampling the wide appeal Pop Funk of the mid 80's.
