for the people by the people was a good album, glad it was mudvayne that covered this song as well; the police were not a hard rock band, and neither was the song/lyrics... originally, but with the help of mudvayne, they definitely gave this song a shot of adrenaline with an original spin of their own. the video definitely transitions quite nicely with the tempo as well. bet sting made them pay out the ass for the opportunity, too, he's just "good" like that.
