  • Would love to see you conduct an interview when worse for wear, after having drunk too much brew! Perhaps not a good idea, but an amusing thought nonetheless. :D

  • Haha! I think that 9% was a bit too much for you. I'm still waiting for the spit take. Maybe that will be the #3 brew. :)

  • Ah, another great interview series. Thanks!

  • Wow, a career change!

  • Great one Matt.

  • I think a bit long introduction to important thing (Stonekeep), soo much hype a result i must wait to next week.. Honestly, matel stuff was good, second part was very boring for me.

  • 31:04 - 31:11 Whoa, Matt you scared me there!

  • At 17:15 or so Peter talks about how little respect non-game businesses used to give game programmers. I'm sad to say that this is still true. If you put a game on your resume, the guy looking at it will likely just write it off as some kind of simple toy and not realize how complex even the smallest game is from a programming standpoint, which is frustrating to no end.

  • STOP ACTA !!! Europe is now facing internet censorship and surveillance .

  • If Brad Dourif was my friend, my life would have been complete.

  • Great video as ever!

    Keep up the awesome work.

  • You should make a video of how you make these interviews.

  • I saw Peter Oliphant in "The Roommates" at the New Beverly theater a few years back. His final film credit.

  • Wow. Right away you can tell this guy is a pretty intelligent programmer. He talks really fast, and explains things rather incoherently.

  • Ahh! Mr Hobbs Takes a Vacation! That was my favorite movie as a kid, even though it was already 25+ years old back then. I even remember Peter's character! He had some really funny scenes. I used to run around calling all my older brother's friends, "Boom-pa", for the longest time. I just nostagia'd so hard.

  • i would love a show on the 'game and watch' toys.

these were released by Nintendo in the 80s and featured Mario and Luigi before there was a Nintendo home system available

  • i was a kid in summer camp when the matell football game was the hottest new toy release. i do not remember the world champion version. i can still remember the noises that thing made. so cool. it kept getting confiscated cuz we would pass it around all night long in our bunks.

    thanks for the interview

  • Excellent! Great work as always Matt!
