8 / 23 / 11 Relaxing me and making me sleepy. Will post any success on 8 / 24 /11. The first stages of "coming out" really scare me because they were the same "feelings" I had when I was a kid and I believe the not-so-nice spirits took me on a regular basis which has now traumatized me to the point it is difficult to do this at will. @0wnage44 Quite possibly. Sounds like you were experiencing sleep paralysis which is common before going into a wake-initiated lucid dream. You can also use that state to induce an astral projection, but from what I understand about it, it's different, and it can be a bit tricky. I've only done it successfully once or twice. Most of the time, it's just a lucid dream disguised as an astral projection.
