Although they didn't win the series, they pushed the reigning world champs to the limit, outscoring them over the course of three test matches. If it weren't for some shocking decisions at the scrum in the first test, which even the ref has gone on record to say he got wrong, then it may have been a different stroy. What the did do was restore the fath in the Lions concept, which was looking very shakey after the debacle that was the 2005 tour. Roll on 2013.
