I don't understand why some commentators are winging because it's completley logical to compare a man who systematically slaughtered millions of people in horrific ways, to a man making an oil company pay for damages said oil company did to a community/ecosystem/nation. It's like comparing apples to apples. Hitler is an apple, Obama is an apple ergo it's perfectly logical.

He correctly ascribes the same tactics to both people. Sowell correctly says that a democracy needs informed citizenry in order to survive. Plato said it differently when he said that the success of a democracy depends on the virtue of the people. Perhaps you should read the article before plying your vast intellect.
