  • DI family nights? WTF? How long have these been around? Has the corp gone soft?

  • That you john wayne? Is this me?

  • i think i could . hes just a dude with bad self asteam

  • i think deep down he was actually impressed

  • dude all the way on the right calm as fuck

  • bunch of morons, no such thing as military intelligence if you are in the bottom of the ranks

  • Guy on the right was taking a shit look at his face

  • no wonder they hate US military they all suck balls. effing faggots

  • @kvarntobben so you think you can take on hundreds of thousands of marines? You dont seem like you've hit puberty yet.

  • They scream click, yet the don't even look at him...

  • Robot programming

  • i talked to my recruiter today he said im not in the delayed program yet he said i could go down and work out with them is it worth going even though im not in the program yet?

  • @kAsHMoN311 If they will let you work out with them then yes go, there are recruits, then there are poolies, ones waiting to ship. My son went to PT at the RSS months before he was actually a poolie. Good luck to you

  • @kAsHMoN311 Go down & work out with them, it will help no matter what. You don't want to end up in the Pork Chop Platoon because you failed the Inventory Strength Test.

  • @kAsHMoN311 Exercise, I'm a Poolee at RSS Hollywood and we always get kids who "want to be Marines." A few of them enjoy the work out and come back for more, most of them puke and bleed and never return. Over here the Recruiters push you to your limit and thats when we realize who has it in them to be a Marine. Think of it as a way to filter people who "think" they're fit and ready from those who are.

  • @kAsHMoN311 YES! Go and work out with the other recruits it will make your life a whole lot easier once you get to MCRD or Parris Island. You don't want to be some smuck struggling on the pull up bar or can't do push ups, the abuse will only increase.

  • I shouldn't have had the sound up that loud...

  • @MicroCity98 Definitely not, I have to turn it down each time

  • rahh to my fellow potential nebraskan marines!

was quite shocked to see that this took place in my hometown last year. Rarity I get marines from Nebraska over here in Cali. good luck to all of them.

  • im wearing that same shirt right now. i leave for boot camp june 4 at parris island

  • @mrkoolguy3 hey let me know how it is ok

  • @97sniper will do

  • Hey take the TITLE OFF ,, THERE NOT Marines nor Recruits,,,, they are just POOLIES AWAITING THE SHIP DATES,,, SO DONT DISREPECT MY BELOVED CORPS, BY THAT TTITLE,,,,, 1988-1992 PLT 3023 KILER KILO CO

  • Ive met that special guest drill instructor hes just bein nice because the cameras were on lol

  • :D:D

    soo embarrassing

  • lol omg it's like music to my ears.. lol look at em all lookin so serious! at least they got bearing down pact! little do they know thats just not even the tip of the ice burg! i'm reppin that big "O" [[Oscar Company]] [[April 11, 2011 - July 8, 2011]] now i'm a lance cpl and def. enjoying the corps! Yuttttttttt..lol

  • Im scared to not be able to understand them and end up getting yelled at some more :[

  • I'm a poolie too. And thats awesome that u guys met a DI. I go to basic next year.

  • @jcspectroinc Basic?? Basic is for the Army, Navy and Air Force. BOOT CAMP is for Marines.

  • @travisvanalst The uniform looks the same covered in a body bag :)

  • @Rythmnstrings Lol, silly liberal. It's ok maybe you'll grow up one day :)

  • The recruiters in Lincoln are great guys. Worked out with them for a couple months while I was waiting for the OSO office to start up PT last fall.

  • Hey! I just saw this. Our sons were in bootcamp together! Graduated May 8,2010! I knew I recognized the tall boy:) Now you have two Marines!

  • @hkthorn Hi there Heather, yup, my second is in the Corps, he just got his PFC today actually. Oldest is in Afghanistan now, thanks for visiting.

  • @ndjmom Im in the aussie army, deploying to afghanistan soon. never know might meet him

  • @Boots3962 He's at an airbase, don't know which one, supply

  • Does anyone know if these family nights are mandatory? If it's mandatory for the poolee, is it mandatory for his family to attend as well?

    Thanks for any help.

  • This is the same DI from "Marine Professionalism at it's best" !!! LOL

  • Semper Fi. Hooraaaaah!

  • What are poolies?

  • @XxTheXNerdXGuyxX Poolies are "future recruits": boys and girls/men and women who have signed their contract and sworn in and are waiting to be shipped off to boot camp at either MCRD San Diego or Parris Island, SC. They meet (usually weekly) and PT, go on marches, learn knowledge from their recruiters, have get-togethers, and generally get prepped for (at least) 13 weeks of boot. You can usually tell a poolie by their t shirts with the EGAs on them.

  • Not even a taste

  • my throat hurt just listening

  • i believe these are poolees not recruits, dont mix the 2 up

  • Awesome. Although I'm joining the Army, I can't help but respect the Marines...maybe because I had JROTC with the Marines. :] Semper Fi, fellas!

  • stupid americans :)

  • @zjebanec stfu

  • 1:07 very serious guy :)

  • Lol that little one faking the funk wouldve been killed if I was in that room!

  • had no idea what he was saying the whole time.....

  • I just relize, No fat people are in the military .

  • @TrickShiftz Some sign a waiver so that they can go to "FAT CAMP" meaning by the end of boot camp you will not be fat. Same thing for underweight people except they gain weight.

  • Holy shit that's one of my drill instructors

  • Why do the recruits shout sometimes "yes sir!" and sometimes "aye sir!"?

  • @FrLawRE "yes sir" is said when responding to a Yes/No question ("is this your bag recruit?!) "aye sir is said when confirming that you heard/understood something that the DI said ("get out of here right now you filtyh recruit!")

  • @sk8el3mentfreak O.K. thanks for explaining this.

  • In response to why the recruits get yelled at,.. from what I understand its supposed to simulate chaos and teach them to remain focused and collected under stressful situations. If a Marine were to be taken prisoner the atmosphere would get one of their captors yelling in their face in most likely a language they wouldn't understand. Marines are trained to be disciplined and react in certain ways so they wont fall apart under pressure. Any Marine can correct me, I'm just a Mom of two Marines.

  • @ndjmom Your are correct :)

  • @ndjmom Correct.

  • @ndjmom You Maam are 100 percent correct.

  • @ndjmom lol well DIs do speak a diffrent language

  • @ndjmom nicely explained :)

  • Wouldn't*

  • I kinda wonder, but I'm not saying I don't support and honor are country's heroes... But why do they have to yell at the lower ranks all the time? It doesn't seem to me that that person would be a great leader, but that's an opinion, so tell me otherwise please so I may understand.

    Thank you.

  • oh lord...theyre all wearing jeans...one of the poolees at my rss wore jeans to fm night, and it became his mane till he left for paris island

  • Marines sucked the life out of my dad. Fuck them

  • look at his face at 0.28 to funny

  • SGT LOPEZ?! 0_o

    ohh god...brings back memories.

    He was my J-Hat

    PFC FELIX

    Echo Company

    PLT 2114

  • @0319felix he's on calm mode here though...

  • If you look far to the left, you will see a female.

    This video is BS.

    George Vreeland Hill

  • graduated sept 23

  • why is there a fat guy sitting on the far left

  • And that ... is only the beginning lol

  • This DI has all the outstanding characteristics of a typical individual wh

  • these are poolies at family day you dumb ass...you don't get demoted to recruit status until you get to bootcamp

  • Fresh Meat!

  • Yes there are "women" in the USMC, she is actually in Marine Boot Camp at Paris Island now, getting ready to graduate in a few weeks. She is not only cute, but had a very high ASFAB score and rocked the PST.

  • @ndjmom ASVAB* Armed Services Vocation Aptitude Battery. Good on her, though.

  • @brianenewton75 Since we're correcting things... It's also PFT.

  • @ndjmom PFT, my fingers slipped....

  • @ndjmom That statement is the most attractive thing in the world. No joke.

  • @ndjmom Did you also slip on saying ASVAB

  • this is bullshit.. there is a woman on the left. there are no womans in the usmc

  • @5sec2run You are a freaking idiot. There are female Marines.

  • hahah i don't believe you get a safety pin up that blonde haired dude in the fronts ass he looks so scared and tensed up ... awesome, ship out dec. 12th

  • This guy is a legend.. I seen in eyeballs click movie and he is tearing ass all the time..this guy is the shortest, meanest, toughest DI out there.. I hope he yells at me when I go.

  • @LadyboyAgogo Their jobs are basically the same;that is, they must turn recruits from civilian to military. Marines do not like being called Soldiers, and they do not like their Drill Instructors to be called Drill Sergeants. I have served in both the Marines and the Army, and it is considered an insult to call a Marine a Soldier or visaversa. The media loves to do that.

  • @TheHoomaikai I agree.. I hear soldier get called Marines all the time..but NEVER the other way around.. USMC makes sure you earn the title of a Marine..

  • yup still poolees

  • Drill seargents are so godamm ugly and cant get laid so they hang around mens barracks and annoy those that can lol

  • @LadyboyAgogo Marines have Drill Instructors, and the Army has Drill Sergeants. Big difference!

  • @TheHoomaikai ok thanks, tell me what is the difference ?

  • This ain't shit. Just wait till ur quarter decked with both kill and drill hat in ur face goin fuckin nuts. Nothing ur doing is right. Then they pretend they've had enough of u and senior comes in to make u understand.............have fun boys. 3rd battalion, the PT battalion. Just concentrate on making it from chow to chow. Not week by week or day by day. Everyone cries with the first letter from home and sound off as loud as u fuckin can. Graduation will be the best day of ur life

  • Wow this has almost 5,000 views already, nice!

  • @USMCSEMPERFI601 Up over 23,000 now, wow! Need to post the graduation video in response. It was awesome!

  • Holy shit, That's Sgt. Lopez... He was my Drill Instructor! Crazy SOB that's for damn sure... Great Drill Instructor as well.

  • If you're a "poolee", don't watch or participate in this garbage... This bitch shit ruins the experience. You should go to your respective MCRD not knowing a goddamn thing. I went to boot camp at the age 17 like that, got completely fucked up, and I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences of my life. You're not going to listen to me, you're going to get tired and forget, but give it 110% 100% of the time and it will be one of yours too. YOU WILL ONLY EXPERIENCE IT ONCE!

  • my Rss had to do this the other day at sgtmaj pool function its awesome. semper fi

  • i was there! oorah!!!

  • i was there! oorah

  • Ah that was a fun night, every single Poolee there that night shit their pants the moment he opened his mouth telling us to step on those yellow footprints... I know i shit mine...

  • I was going to go to OCS( Navy ) but i found out its ran by marine drill instructors. So instead im going to ODS where im ranked higher then them...feels good

  • @whatniqqaplease wuss

  • @whatniqqaplease Feels good up until they take hold of you and you realize "Oh God... I fucked up"

You can wear that little Gold bar on your shoulder if you want, but Gunny's own the Marine Corps. Whenever a first Lt. get's shot to hell, they send the Gunny a new one. If anything, you're a high profile target. Good luck.

  • @ItheSwick Knowing how much more i get paid than the gunny would make it all worth while.

  • Wow, he says a mouthful.

  • @NottheFacePlease its like that for every basic training & boot camp.. well i dont fully know about the airforce and the navy lol. or some of the newer basic trainings in the army.. i went to infantry basic in ft benning in 2008 in the army and it was like this.

  • @Sorth I know about the USAF, it's loud and serious. But not nearly as fast as this DI. I'm impressed.

  • @NottheFacePlease I think he was taking it slow to as these recruits hadn't even been to boot camp yet. Some won't leave for 6-9 months. It is intense!

  • @ndjmom Damn. They look pretty nerdy. I expected really big jocks to join the marines.

  • @ndjmom naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah
