I wish they would have brought the series to the PS3. imagine Resident Evil 5 with better graphics, crapload more gritty, better character and monster design, the awesome gameplay system Square enix dreams of, and make it survival horror to the max, Parasite Eve is one of the only few games that actually scared me, and left it's touch

@evermoreangel Well, The 3rd Birthday is one of the most graphically impressive titles for the PSP to date. I don't know about the gameplay, though, I guess we'll have to wait and see... My favorite old school horror game would be the original Silent Hill, I completely chickened out.

This piece proves what a great composer Yoko Shimomura is, and why she was one of Square's "big 3 composers" (Yasunori Mitsuda and Nobuo Uematsu being the other two). Well, she went on to compose for Kingdom Hearts I + II after all. And wow, I can't believe that it was ELEVEN YEARS ago when I picked this game up for the first time :O. Holy ****! I think I'm going to replay this on Christmas Eve...

That really doesn't seem like a comfortable position to be sitting in. She's not exactly supporting her leg on anything except possibly her knee or calf, and even so that heel of hers must be digging into her leg. The beginning of this song is when Aya is down in the basement of Carnige Hall, when she goes into the room that Eve is in, Eve is playing this on the piano, if you let Aya sit and listen long enough, it gets pretty epic like this.

Well, elpetrocapo, you've to bear in mind that Squaresoft made both games, and Squaresoft has always made beautiful BGM music for games.

This game come from a novel, and had already been adapted in a movie (but more respectfull of the novel than the game)

If by respectful you mean faithful to the novel, then yes the movie is.

However the first game is a sequel to the novel, Maeda confirms as much when he mentions the events of the novel during the game.

It's also been speculated that Mariko Anzai from the novel is the mother of Aya and Maya, as they share the same first name.

As does 3rd Birthday reference the fact, as it's the third awakening of Eve

Novel: 1st B-day

PE1: 2nd B-day

PE2: Eve was a clone and not a 'real' Eve, according to canon
