Its a banned motor. But you can still buy if off the internet. An of course 20b's never came in a rx7 because its a banned motor.

You can compare an rx7 to a vette. Both are wonderful cars. Both can corner. The vette has more power thou. But the rx7 is a light car. Now if you put a ls7 in a rx7 then you get one hell of a car. and most people would say then the balance is off. In fact the ls7 doesn't weight much more than the 13b twin turbo cause the ls7 is an aluminum block. So yeah. Just wanted to put my input

@calgrizz52 thats actually very false. the ls7 block is a little heaver than a fully decorated 13b, meaning with the turbos, alternator, piping, a/c, everything on it. dress up the ls7, and its much heavier. ALSO, it messes up the balance, cause it sits differently in the car, so if your theory was correct, which its not, there's no way the ls7 could sit behind the front tires, therefor messing up the balance completely.

The engine didn't blow up by the way, the intercooler pipe just blew off. Anyone that's ever ran a respectable amount of boost knows this problem well (although I've never had a pipe actually shoot out the side of my car like that... that was pretty spectacular).
