what is she activating? As much as love the dub jus as much as i loved the original, there are just some things i dont get about the english version, why change the names of the attacks if they're already in english?

I think that the DiC version has overall, better music, and great voice acting - the only problem I had with it, was that it CUT so much content out of the episodes, and watered down all the important themes. Zoisite/Kunzite, the whole point about 'sacrifice' in episode 45 etc. I think if they had kept the DiC Music and voice acting, but didn't cut bits out, censor things or make any changes beyond that, it would be loved by everyone :)

I agree entirely. It's a shame people enjoy arguing about which version they think is better when, it really doesn't f*cking matter. In my opinion, the dub had some pretty epic voices. Especially Serena's...Terry Hawks can voice act!!! XD

That's because the original was orchestrated music with real instruments, a real conductor and a craptons of strings. The English dub is all synth shit I could've done in my backyard in a week.

OMG the dub sucks :/ The original voice version is imho much better. And I still have no idea why they changed the music in the transformation. I prefer the original. But well, some people who saw it for the first time in the changed version might love it too for sentimental reasons, so I can understand that. ;)

Her transformation sequence is a few seconds faster than it is in the original. I'll never quite figure out why they sped it up . . . I guess so that the dub version could fit in the alloted time slot for the show.

Well Queen Serenity is the queen of the past (Princess Serenity's mother or Serena) while Princess Serenity (or Serena) is the princess on the past. Serena is also Neo Queen Serenity in the future.

I think that all the spinning and stuff happens at the speed of light. But they just slowed it down for the viewers to watch and enjoy.

Actually, the spinning is purely for the people watching the show. In the show itself, all that happens in a bright pink light comes out of her locket, covers her body, and bang - she's Sailor Moon. This is demonstrated in one episode of Sailor Moon S, when Michiru transforms in front of Haruka for the first time. A turquoise light comes out of her pen, blinds everyone for like a second, and then she's Sailor Neptune.

In the original, it's "Moon Princess Halation". In the dub version, it is supposed to be "Moon Sceptre Elimination". However, DIC changes the wording several times, eventually including "Moon Princess Elimination", "Moon Sceptre Activation", and "Moon Sceptre Halation".

i love the attack with the english music not the japanese. the transformation was cool, but i want to know how every time she gets a new locket, she knows exactly what to do in the transformation, (ex. spinning after she puts the locket back on) i mean i don't think anybody told her what to do. i want to see one time she transforms and like trips on something in the middle of it or something like that. that would be funny. would. lol
