Concerning religious rock music. God will not use Satan's music for himself because he is a holy God. We are living in the end times and are witnessing the great falling away as the Bible predicted would occur. Much of the church has been absorbed into the sinful culture, but God does not compromise and neither should we. We need to get the culture out of the church. Religious rock music is offering up a strange fire before a Holy God. It is a mockery to him. God desires for us to be set apart.

It doesn't matter how it sounds as long as it glorifies God. I've been to four tobyMac concerts, and he has always given God the glory. The churches today are in a state of apostasy and the fear of the Lord is absent, and one of the main culprits, in addition to the heretical "once-saved-always-saved" teaching, is religious rock & rap. Because in reality, many so-called Christians love the world more than Christ and are mocking him through their irreverent and blasphemous music. The majority of so-called "Christians", are distracted and are more concerned with C-rock instead of getting ready for Christ's soon return.

The beats, the tunes and everything in music is good. Heaven is filled with it! Sin is good gone wrong. Thus, this junk music you're talking about is good gone wrong; however, this music glorifies God. As such it's okay.
Remember: there are many styles of worship/music. As long as it's not heretical (against sound doctrine), God likes it :)

There is a definite pressure to conform to this world rather than to separate oneself from its godless influence. Christian rap is a cheap imitation of secular rap. Concerning religious rock music. God will not use Satan's music for himself because he is a holy God. We are living in the end times and are witnessing the great falling away as the Bible predicted would occur. Much of the church has been absorbed into the sinful culture, but God does not compromise and neither should we. We need to get the culture out of the church. Religious rock music is offering up a strange fire before a Holy God. It is a mockery to him. God desires for us to be set apart.

It doesn't matter how it sounds as long as it glorifies God. I've been to four tobyMac concerts, and he has always given God the glory. Because in reality, many so-called Christians love the world more than Christ and are mocking him through their irreverent and blasphemous music. The majority of so-called "Christians", are distracted and are more concerned with C-rock instead of getting ready for Christ's soon return.

" You think God gives the Holy Spirit to live in us ,then takes Him away if we fail Him?? The Holy Spirit is our guarantees that we will be with God in heaven. God knows those who are His and those who only think they are. God knows the heart and that is what matters. Why don't you let Him be the judge because obviously He has more wisdom then any of us. Use your words to impart grace and encouragement to the receiver not death. It is His righteousness we are covered with.

@aianime07 At salvation, all sin to that point is forgiven and forgotten. But all sins committed afterwards are NOT automatically covered! If they were, then Rom. 8:13; Gal.5:19-21; etc. would be senseless! Jesus taught that our future sins would NOT automatically be forgiven in Matt. 6:14,15. Many get saved, but afterwards fall away (Lk. 8:13; Jn. 6:66; 1 Tim.1:19; etc.). After initial salvation we must endure to the "end" to enter Heaven & escape Hell (Mt.10:22; Heb.3:14; Rev.2:10,11).

(Romans 14:1-6, cf. 2 Tim. 2:23) God uses a variety of methods, and music is one; He is not restricted to a genre (though death metal might be extreme).
The beats, the tunes and everything in music is good. Heaven is filled with it! Sin is good gone wrong. Thus, this junk music you're talking about is good gone wrong; however, this music glorifies God. As such it's okay.
Remember: there are many styles of worship/music. As long as it's not heretical (against sound doctrine), God likes it :)

/serenityluvsgod goes from site to site and puts down all chrstian artists that not sing the old style hymns that he or she deems God worthy. Passing judgement on a fellow christian is something he or she will have to answer to before God. WE all know God reaches the lost youthful generation through different genres but some people can't understand that and the fruit is what God looks at .He either blesses a ministry or shuts it down and Toby Macs ministry is thriving .God bless him.

@serenityluvsgod Pft. The whole point of being a music artist is to express your views, and who you are as a person. If that's a sin, especially when most of your inspiration comes from God, then repenting is giving up individuality.
There's nothing sinful about it, and they're not "exploiting" the name of Jesus for money. Everyone has to get by somehow -- and they're lucky enough to get by, simply by showing their art with the world.
