Its just the newest contextualization of a NATURAL tendency to socially organize. The failure, was continuing to fight, Instead of Working Together, Without War. But how to control a population? Instead it should be house the population! Give them all something to do! And lighten the workload on others, maybe small shift work for a day would provide enough salary for 3 days! for everyone. in a new system, away from paper money it causes greed, paper. I think the right question that needs to be asked in order to find out what lead to the crisis is who benifits from the crises. Who benifited from the economy crisis earlier?

all the money spent on Davos meetings and these "economists" did NOTHING to prevent the economic crisis. 

how do we fix it?

1. fix the U.S. trade deficit with China.

2. the Chinese protectionism killed the U.S. markets. This is obvious and costs nothing to figure out.

3. regulate derivatives, again not a penny spent to figure this out.

4. let the bad banks fail.

5. STOP PRINTING! Dollar creation kills wealth creation.

6. stop spending

7. enable wealth and job growth.

I love there process. Its organized like my third grade classroom. I was half expecting to see chart paper and colored markers at the tables so the diplomats could post there ideas around the room when they were finished.

you know what annoys me the most. Larry Summers and co. were the people who masterminded the 'shock therapy' doctrine inn dealing with Russia and the East Asian crisis. They said so what if people suffer. Free market capitalism must be defended etc etc. why are they instituting a protectionist regime now? why dont they take some of their own advice
