I've contacted Mark personally via emails and he failed to answer even one of my questions in direct response to different things stated in his book.

He would merely ramble on, not really saying anything even relevant to even my first question, though he would reply quickly and seemed to have plenty of time, but didn't give me the impression he was putting any energy at all into making any reasonable argument as to why he said certain things.

I was given Mark's book by my sister to read. I read the first chapter and found myself unable to stop laughing at his weak attempts to 'prove' god. His chicken/egg story showed his truly limited understanding of science and biology.

If I had to rate the book on educative value, I'd give it a zero. My sister felt quite confident that this book was the holy grail of books.

Needless to say, the book went directly into the trash, exactly where it belongs.

Mark Cahill reaches the lost exponentially with the reconciliation ministry that God has given to Him through the special gifts that He's bestowed Mark. His targeted audience is the youth. He is doing it right and he is both on his game and hitting the mark—God's mark.

These youth are electing to come to him and listen to his godly speeches about becoming saved and what to do with their lives. The ones that form nucleuses go about spreading the light of God's salvation in Christ and handing out these evolutionist—debunking witnessing books and tracts. "Follow the evidence of a Creator" is Mark's theme.

The light is spread and it is sparked by those new babes in Christ as they go out bravely into the world, in addition to around their college campuses, and their churches, and they continue to spread this light to MORE young, impressionable minds that are still fresh enough to be seeking truth and purpose in life.

Kids are cut off at the quick with the worshiping of the god of this age, which is Lucifer. Hopefully, they will stop going to college and start forming their relationships with Christ and allow God's power to be shewn to a perishing world, as well. Light up the world with the Knowledge of the Salvation of God in Christ, His Son!

My sister begged me to read this guy's 'book'. After I was done, I decided to e-mail him a large number of questions, none of which he was able to answer. Though his replies seemed courteous, his logic seems flawed beyond reason. For those of you who are Christian, let me see if I understand this correctly: People murder the son of God, and this somehow causes God to forgive us of sin? Also, if God helps us understand the Bible, why has it been translated into English & in many versions?

@stephenawolfe , what is your epistemology? Do you have a religious backround? Jesus Christ is the only way that God has provided for a sinner to be forgiven and reconciled unto Himself. He willingly laid His life down as a sacrifice and atonement for our sins. We are under God's wrath and Christ's sacrifice appeased this wrath and only through repentance and faith we can be forgiven. Christ always existed from the beginning and came to reach us so we could be redeemed from the bondage of sin

@34craigjan I have a great understanding of both religious beliefs and the truth. I am a scientist who is only interested in what is real; things that can at least be tested are interesting to me. If I were to pray that the Moon turns green, and it immediately does so, this would be something I'd want to investigate further. It isn't that I simply disbelieve in the Christian idea of 'God', but know for a fact it is nonsense.

I will e-mail you a series of questions I challenge you to answer.

@stephenawolfe , Do you believe in God? BTW, what is the foundation of science? Empericism. What is the foundation of empiricism? Trusting your 5 senses are reliable. If you have no higher, intelligent creator behind your 5 senses, how can you trust they work properly in order to make accurate observations and testing? If you came about by random chance over "billions" of years, you couldn't possibly trust anything. That's just simple logic. It is "nonsense" NOT to believe in God. It's obvious.

@34craigjan Then be my guest and prove the existence of any deity. Isn't it quite arrogant to believe your religion is the only correct one out of the many others that exist and have come before it? The way I see it, there are 2 possibilities: #1 that all religions ever created have been wrong, or #2 that only 1 religion has been correct through all of human history. The way you see things is: #1 I follow Christianity, so it is therefore correct. How interesting. Prove 'God'.

@stephenawolfe that's just it. it's not for God to prove that He exists. it's for you to prove that you believe in and love Him. He wants us to have faith and He gives us the right to choose. if God proves that He exists, then what's the point of Him wanting us to have faith? if He doesn't exist, then when you die, it'll just be an eternal state of unconsciousness. but what if you're wrong? you'll be in a place of eternal suffering. is that a gamble you're willing to take? think about it.

@anistonlover08 Pain is a scientifically proven and measurable effect of a combination of biochemical interactions and bioelectrical impulses. Pain is not felt for those who have died. Upon brain death, how do you allege eternal suffering is possible or even plausible?

There are no what ifs. I consider Pascal's wager a very flawed. By your reasoning, a truly good man who does not believe will suffer in hell while rapists & murderers go to heaven for just having faith.

@stephenawolfe , also, it's WITH God that we know what we know and can make sense of the world around us. We have order in the universe, intelligence, design, uniformity in nature, scientific laws, morality, logic, reason, etc. Atheists say they only believe what can be physically proven, but trust in things like logic, morality, reason, gravity which are inmaterial, abstract, universal and absolute. It doesn't fit their world view, but engage in them anyway.Where do you get your moral standard?

I read your book in Sunday School and I have started using some of ur questions at my school. I put them on an index card and pin them to my shirt and walk around. And it's like I'm wearing a sign that says, "Free Money" they flock towards those questions! Thank you Mark. :)

I just met him yesterday. I was in my hotel and he just came up to us and started talking to us about God, eternity, and he gave us his books. He even offered us money, but we wouldn't take it. Just a really great guy who is all about the message.

Seeing this man live is an extreme wake up call. I just got back from a conference called winter retreat, and he was the second speaker. As soon as a band gets done playing, he immediately gets right in your face and straightens you out.

Now this is the kind of guy I like, gets your attention, fact after fact, right to the point. Mark gets the message through.

To me, he challenges me to be a better Christian, and he does a good job at it. This man is the definition of zealous and his books rock

I never met him personally but I saw people talking to him and they looked fine. One thing that you can see about him from his videos is that he is a pretty intense person. He's definitely a zealous witness and I think all that matters is that he is glorifying God, not impressing man, so good for him!

Why not look at the method he is talking about one to one is a 'nickname' that ray comfort uses. There is no point trying to witness to someone and give them the good news of the gospel or telling them to repent, if they don't know why they need to repent. I have to disagree with the statement "Face of modern religion". Mark Cahill talks about doing what ALL Christians should be doing, the Great Commission. Jesus commanded it. Actually listening to non believers when trying to share with them. Historical studies. And personal analysis. All lead to the non existence of a personal God. I have examined christian doctrine, not just the people. Christian teachings, history, dogma. I know what is written in the bible and no I dont believe what it says to be true. Reality differs to what is recorded in the bible. The followers of such things is not the best example, but is not to be ruled out entirely.
