If you only give them blood worms , it's bad as there's too much protein. A good discus flake mix is what I give them every day. Sometimes I skip a day just so I dont overfeed.

my friend rescued a goldfish (which looked dead for a week in her tank) and it got HUGE. dominated the tank and would swim though your hands if you made a hoop. would come up to be petted and would take bugs n stuff from your hands. i guess sometimes the feeder fishies look dead but they ARENT haha

Get a good discus flake mix. YOu can get them that have an agent in them that brings out the colour in the fish. I hope you enjoy your fish !

Please....don't handfeed aquarium fish....YEARS ago ... we had huge tanks - 100 gallon plus....huge fish...they all died !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You have staph areaus on your hands !!!!!!!!!! Just drop in the worms and watch. Sorry, very bad.
