  • Again beautiful work! Do you do all the camerawork yourself? I wonder then how do you zoom in and out while driving by?

Enjoyed the whole of it: editing, music, shots and off course: the awesome Land Rover.

  • @jeroencornelisse Thanks mate.. yes i do all filming and editing on my own. As I film in 1080i HD I can pan and scan the footage during editing in order to do give motion to my shots without losing resolution when outputting to SD or 720P.

  • In the middle of fitting a 130 clutch into mine, apparently unbreakable, (we'll see!).

  • Nice truck. Can't beat a defender.

  • @nathanshepherd1 Thanks mate!

  • Remove that ugly looking bullbar bdw nice landie you got cheers

  • @MaLTaWheels1 Thanks mate! I quite like my bullbar.. seen nothing else like it yet.

  • Nice truck Brett. I also have a 110 (flat top), with Discovery engine, rebuilt gearbox and Discovery transfer box. The best thing about them is that they are so easy to work on. When doing the engine swap, I noticed that there are only actually six wires leading to the engine, no ECU, no complex loom to label. Try doing that with a Land Cruiser! Because of the nature of the VE pump you can run it on WVO without any modification.

  • @MrVoevod Thanks mate! True.. One of the reasons I bought a Defender is the ease of doing my own maintenance and servicing!.. Just installed a new viscous fan hub on the weekend... easy as. :-)

  • Shes beutiful mate my dad had a siriise 3 :3

  • @MK9825 Thanks mate! I would love to own a Series 1 someday... They just have that look about them.. the simplicity.

  • WHAT NUMBNUTS GAVE THIS VIDEO A THUMBS DOWN?, OBVIOUSLY A HOMOSEXUAL ! ;-)

  • What a beautiful car, mate

  • @insurgentdude Thanks mate!

  • I own a 1985 90 that i rebuilt. It has got an honest lump the N/A (natrally asperated). I love these old buses

  • @rallyjack100 yup 2.5n/a all the way mate ,i have a 110 '86 as well, never let me down. little underpowered for the 110 but always gets you where you want to go, just a little slowly..;-)

  • @rallyjack100 Mate.. you'll have to upload some vids of her in action!

  • Damn She's Buity i want one so bad but dont have the money for one :( but if i got one i would live in it so great of a Car is it

  • Sensational tribute, congrats!!

  • Great stuff - I love my 1985 LR 110 & no one but other land rover owners can truly understand why - keep up the good work, great to see a LRO down under - I thought the 4x4 seen there was dominated by the hilux? Is it easy to get parts? - dreaming of bringing my LR down in next few years. Nice 1.

  • @TheBushcraftBoyz

    Thanks mate.

Yes parts are easy enough to get but you may have to wait a day or two to get them. Australia is mainly dominated by the Totota LandCruiser. Unfortunately Land Rover didn't put the effort into Australia back in the 70's-80's and lost their market share and the rest is history.

  • awesome car mate...land rovers esp defenders are unbeatable

  • It sounds just like mine...The engine is like a rock!

  • Great video, thanks for sharing :)

  • god amazing vid(i'd like to see more action though :P ) Landys ftw! btw how much did yo pay for it?

  • Thanks mate... about $13000 a few years back. ;-)

  • @BushmanProductionsAU

rly? lol I thought they were extremely expensive. Did you buy it second hand or smthing?

  • @xxxangelxxxxx They are extremely expensive brand new.. but mine has had a few owners since then. You can pick up second hand ones quite reasonably and in excellent condition.

  • top quality vid mate! nice one!

i know my next motor is goin to be a landy mate just need to make the decision on a 90 or 110 (from the 90's) swaying to the 110 2500/300 tdi for me kayak, mtb, and camping kit.

thanks for up loading, top vid

    stay safe pip

  • someone near me is selling a 93' land rover defender that looks like its in superb/mint condition exterior and under 50,000km for $3100 CAD.

  • Sounds a pretty good deal. Probably going to be some major rust in the chassis or firewall. With those low km's it should fetch over $10000 easy.

  • amazing video :)

  • Jesus that bull bar is MASSIVE! Must weigh a ton. Nice video mate, great car :D

  • Thanks mate.. yeh.. our Bulls are bred big down here! ;-)

  • When you goin to make moor videos

  • Hey Mate. Would love to make more videos.. just need the time to have another adventure! :-)

Should be adding some stuff in the coming months though.

    Thanks.

  • Grate Work

  • Defeners kick ass

  • that's pretty cool man, I drive a 1994 Defender 90 3.9L V8, it's fantastic, the only problem is that you can't pass very many fuel stations on a count of my range is about 325 kilometers.

    again, nice video

    moz!™™

  • Thanks! :-) wow mate.. she's thirsty! Sounds like you need a secondary tank, or upgrade to a 120L tank like mine.

  • Did I tell you that I'm very jealous... #1 your in Austrailia and #2 you have a Defender :) good vid!

  • Thanks mate! :-)

  • Awesome vid mate!!!!!!! Defender rulez!!! I run a 1991 200tdi myself and its AWESOME .Please make more VIDEOS of your Land Rover 200tdi 110 !!!!!!! Cheers

  • Thanks mate! You should put up some vids of your truck too! That would be great to see. I hope to make a few vids in the comming months.. so stay tuned! ;-)

  • The Land Rover is a Defender and Series are legend, purely british and made in Solihull - it's something made in England that we can be proud of for once! No other 4x4 comes close and these things are made to last - you can't say that about a Land Cr****r.

  • cant think of much else we can be proud of but the defender is a work of art!

  • by the way mate good vid

  • oh no a sad fwkin land cruiser fwk off idiot like to see your sad land cruiser beat my fuck off 90 you saddo my s2a is 43 years old and your shiet toyota couldnt dream of going places my landys have been come over to south wales uk proper off roading

  • If you don't really know what you are talking about you're better keeping quiet or else you look thick. Land Rover or Landcruiser the two best the world over, sure Toyota is more popular in Oz but doesn't make it better. I've had experience of both and I would take either. As for Patrol now your're talking soft. They seem popular in Oz but thats about it.

  • Land Rover Defenders are the best off roaders not like the stupid soft roaders they make these days we have stupid pointless things like the Land Rover Discovery, freelanders 1 & 2 and Range Rover Sports.

    Defenders RULE!!!

  • Neither would I mate! Thanks :-)

  • Beautiful Landy! Great video!! I have a '97Defender 110 and wouldn't change it for ANY other vehicle!! Take care!!

  • awesome video, i just love them. probably the greatest the greatest vehicles ever.

  • Thanks mate!

  • My 1994 300Tdi 110 has done 278,000 miles now - it'll see me out!

  • 278000 MILES!! Thats over 447000km! IMPRESSIVE! Testament to the rugged durability that is Land Rover! Thanks :-)

  • is it hard to get spares part for defender in australia?

  • I cant wait to get mine .. Td5. Its weird they are ugly cars .. but they're so ugly it makes them beautiful lol ... i love them , im getting one .. cya around the bend bud : )

  • Sounds great mate! Just be sure to protect the ECU during deep water crossings! All the best!

  • Wonderful tribute to an amazeing vehicle. My 1990 110tdi Hard top is still going strong with 220,000 MILES (about 350,000 K's) on the clock. Doesn't look as straight as yours, but I love her. Who made your tow bar? It looks good.

  • Thanks mate. That's incredible! 350000k's! Has your engine been overhauled yet? My towbar is a standard LR Defender model that I believe came with the vehicle. It's got plenty of strong bolting points for it's 4000kg rated towing capacity!

  • I haven't done any thing to the engine but I've only had her 6 years. I think the previous owner had some work done on the fuel pump but I don't know any more than that. She runs and starts sweet that's all that matters.

The towbar is not a british LR product, ours are nick named "ploughs" because of how far they hang down. Yours looks very neat, I would be interested if you could tell me any more about it.
