Its too bad that it will never work in a real world situation. If this thing were to be used in combat situations, its a sitting duck in the air... with the payload, its ceiling height is dramatically reduced, as well as its speed... Also, there will be a very apparent lack of fuel capacity... With the wing movements, I cant see them putting a lot of fuel in there, yet need to make room for all the moving parts...
This looks like the real deal. It will be less of a sitting duck than a helicopter with better range, load lift, and speed. As an unmanned vehicle, it can go into very dangerous areas without risking a pilot. Finally, it seems obvious that the load can be made up of fuel so that fuel capacity seems to be no problem at all.
maehrlich if that is the case that load can indeed be a fuel tank, it would be able to deliver nothing and the only use would be spying from the air. This won't happen because, like has been said, the ceiling of this aircraft will not be sufficient.
It's so overly complicated anyway and I see no benefits over current helicopters.

What an interesting design. I have a great urge to buy that as a toy, i think it's the colours.

I am not an aerodynamics expert. However, those rotor blades are very big. So it is most probable that those blades will cause a lack of stability.
