I'm not sure where in the bible you're talking about where it re-emphasizes eating shellfish being a sin... Do you have the verse(s)? Or are you asking why the KJV Bible says it was a sin at one time? In this case it isn't really important to know what WAS a sin, but it doesn't hurt to see what happened in the past does it:)? God changed a lot of things as time went on.

@WhereIsReligion Oh I see what you're saying:) The reason why shellfish WAS a sin is because according to the dietary law of Mosses, shellfish was not to be eaten. However, the Lord Jesus Christ satisfied all the dietary laws of Mosses, and eating shellfish was no longer a sin (MORAL law however is still in place) > Then came Peter on the roof at Joppa> And today eating shellfish is not a sin. Remember MOSSES had started the dietary law of not eating shellfish (And pork, animal flesh).

Remember that the Israelites were banned from eating shellfish (During the pre-Chritian era)... I guess I could make an analogy to your question to why wouldn't God just look into the future? Well, if God looked into the future for everything, me and you would be in either heaven or hell... Is that fair? No, he gives us a chance to decide where we want to go. God Bless.

You know,the 2012 Elections is coming up.What happens if Obama's time as President comes to an end,and someone else take his place?Are the WBC going to call the next guy the Anti-Christ?You know,when the Rapture does happen and Jesus brings his believers and his followers to Heaven so they dont suffer the 7 year reign of the Anti-Christ(I'm not saying that I am going,myself.I mean I hope that I do)the WBC are still going to be here for what they have done to families and soldiers and the USA.
