The Lost World was better then that piece of shit film called Jurassic park 3.

JP3 was more like a family sitcom with an over-sized, over-hyped Spinosaurus that they made into a mini Godzilla which ate fish as it's main diet that somehow managed to get hit by a plane, bitten by a T-Rex an survive.

The only thing good about that movie was Sam Neil an not even he could save it.

@MidnightGrunt Well, in the case of the fat guy, they probably assumed he died on the Island due to the fact they never saw him again after the dinos got loose, even though, as far as we know, nobody ever found his body. But it's also entirely possible that they assumed he escaped since they knew he was up to something, and therefore assumed he was alive, making Malcom's knowledge of the death toll be 3. But you are right about the gatekeeper guy.

Actually, now after seeing this, he unintentionally points out a massive plothole in the films. Lost World takes place on Site B. So does JP3. So where the hell is that Spinosaurus in Lost World and how did all of the dinos on the island suddenly change color?

Also, didn't they call Site A in the first film Isla Sorna, when JP3 and the books refer to site B as Isla Sorna?

What upset me the most about this film is that I read the book, and the real villain from both books and the first movie, Dodson from Biosyn Corp (aka. the guy who hired Nedry to sabatoge the original park) wasn't even in this film. Heck, him and is evil corporation were even in the second Jurassic Park videogame for the super nintendo. The videogames were superior to this lame film.
