Is it just me or does there seem to be some sort of chemistry between Lisbon and the new boss? I'm still hoping for Jisbon, but could this be the guy that Patrick will get jealous of?

Forget the new boss, Lisbon is already with Mashburn for the time being. If anything, the new boss is sort of Jane's likable rival/ally in terms of mind-bending opinions.

@megalosauru LOL not even in the mind!! That's why Jane asked Lisbon at the end of the episode if he had antisocial behavior because the new boss described characteristics of antisocial behavior to the T. Not a clincal psychopath

I'm not saying the new boss was right, but his opinion did have some weight into it. And being antisocial doesn't mean he doesn't have friends. Being antisocial means you don't fabricate any special relationship with anyone, which Jane is doing right now.

Besides, the boss was kinda right saying Jane is clinical. After all, he's more than willing to throw anything away in order to off RJ. So in a way, his obsessive part is his psychopathic part. The boss was half-right.

@megalosauru could understand why he did it right? Unjustifiable in psychology means something like the guy looked at him funny so he had to kill him, but justifiable could mean something like a girl scratching her cheating bf's car. It doesn't mean she was right but you could understand why. So no I wouldn't call him a psychopath, if anything it was more of a crime of passion.

Hm, so IYO he's not a psycho. Okay, good to hear the mind of an expert who actually works in the field. I'm so sick of my friends calling Jane "a psycho, but for a good reason".

But I disagree with the term 'crime of passion' on Jane's case. It's more like revenge, and I believe revenge isn't a crime. Revenge seeks for justice, after all.

@megalosauru Besides he showed remorse and empathy in the second to last episode when he felt bad for conning the woman back in the day. Two things that a clinical psychopath can't do. As a mentalist I believe he tries to separate his feelings from his observations and that's why he is so good at it. No I would say he is just a smart guy who has been really hurt in life. LOL How many smart people have narcisistic qualities. ;)
