My uncle really had Alzheimer but with our help he went to rehab and he is clean for 5 months now.

Don't say my uncle didn't have Alzheimer, it was very serious and very hard for all of us.

that is NOT alzheimers. You can't just switch alzheimers on or off. It is an illness that slowly erodes your mental capacities. It is irreversible and emotionally painful on both the victim and their families.

@sxcaki Of course it is not an addiction! Of course you can't switch it on or off. It is an illness. My uncle got it from my aunt, because she cheated on him with some guy and then she got Alzheimer. She didn't get it as bad as my uncle though, she got clean from Alzheimer pretty quick. My uncle had it more severe. But I really think you are talking about something else than Alzheimer.

My mom was diagnosed at 45 with Early onset and I was only 13 at the time and took care of her till she had to stay in a nursing home because my dad and I could not take care of her by ourselves. She passed in 08 when I was 20 I really like this video, but it hurts to watch because she did things like that. I wish one of her doctors would have caught it early but they just didn't look for EOAD.  IF you think it could possibly be Alzheimer's MAKE THEM CHECK!!! Please don't let them ignore it.

@FarrahRaynae so sorry about your mum, my dad has this hes just turned 54 :( hes had it a year now well about 3years but only diagnosed last april...it is a sad horrible disease and Im so sorry you had to go through it so young! my grandma has it :| he's 79 and the first evident symptoms started last year ago in November. Now she has the symptoms of Level 3 Alzheimer :|

70% of dementia is from alzheimers.

17% vascular dementia

13% all other forms of dementia.

Really it doesn't matter much the cause the end is the same. It is an ugly ugly thing for a person to have dementia.
