NEW FAN! 5* 2010 green resolution will start when the rain stops. when we bbq we'll use resuseable plates instead of paper or plastic plates and silverware.

When I wash my hands at work or in a public place with paper towels, I've started only using one paper towel to dry my hands. One is actually enough. It just takes a little more time to use up every dry part of the towel. But it saves a ton of paper! Now I'm using 1/2 to 1/3 the paper I used to use, and since I wash my hands probably 4-5 times a day, that adds up.

As for my social/green initiatives for 2010 - right this minute the guys are on my roof installing solar panels (finally, after much PGE nonsense) and in the 'sharing the love' category, my Zep tribute band (Led Graffiti) will be donating proceeds from all gigs to Guitars Not Guns - a non-profit that teaches kids in need how to play guitar and nurture a life-long love of music!!
