  • -.- come to find out i didnt even had a password but thanks anyway..lol

  • can u send me a copy of the disk or something like that

  • @codyacomputerman1 I would be happy to do so, if it would work. Sadly, you must use the disk that came with your Mac. This is because the disk is registered to your particular Mac - sorry.

  • I followed through but I don't get the top bar so I can't change my password... help?

  • @NewJersi2468 If you have a disk in the drive, it should give you an option to select the disk. Does it not display that option?

  • its just says application instal disc with 2 files that say........"install bundled software and instructions

  • @NewJersi2468 Are you using the same disc that came with your Mac?

  • yes

  • after every time i hold down alt it say macintish hd??

  • @NewJersi2468 It should say Macintosh HD, but also any other hard drive and discs you have connected. Like at 0:23. You need to click the disc (cd/dvd).

  • @theapplechannelHD i didnt get anything els but macintosh hd??

  • @theapplechannelHD what if u don't hv the disk?

  • @NewJersi2468 Step 1. Mount your Mac OS X Install DVD.

Step 2. Shut down your mac.

Step 3. Hold down "C" on your keyboard and boot up your mac.

This will automaticly boot from the DVD.

  • @TehOriginalExceL Glad it helped, thanks for watching.

  • Please, can I use any Mac CD or just the one comes with each computer.

and what do you mean but the infamous sound ????? do you mean the sound come up after you enter a CD in Mac ? or the sound that come up when you turn on the computer ? thanks

  • @nawaryoussef1 Sorry for the delayed reply. It's best to use the one that came with the Mac. That's because that disc is registered to that very same Mac, and no other. And yes, I meant the bong sound that you hear when you turn it on.

    Thanks for watching!
