I watched this vid back in Sept. and bought a CHI which didn't do anything for me, so I finally broke down and bought a GHD and I love it! I especially love that I get nice tight curls which doesn't even happen with some of my curling irons. I was able to get the pink 7 white one from Amazon for $156, so if anybody is looking for one, Amazon has some cheap ones that are indeed real, but only if the order is filled by Amazon, I would stay away from the marketplace.

"straightened" hmmm very subjective. It was a course mess!! I haven't had a relaxer in about 6 months so when I do wear my hair down it smooth out my roots with the GHD and have the same results so... Hi there, look no offense taken I was the same way but my curiosity got the best of me and I'm glad it did. It's definitely protects your hair although I STILL recommend a heat protectant, it's got 100% ceramic plating, it heats your hair from the inside out using moisture, it's got an auto shut off, heats up in like 15 seconds...no joke, comes with a warranty, has a converter cord for diff voltages, and the biggest benefit of all it's hot pink!! ;)

Hi the Pure (white) and the one that I own have exactly the same technology, plating, size & both are IV versions. The only difference is the color and I believe the Pure Iron comes with a travel/storage pouch which is kind of handy. I'm looking for a good one now.The lighter pink iron comes with a bag, pouch, brush AND Clips!

yeah yours is definitely real..the cord is a converter cord..for like if you go to the uk..their power output stuff is different from the us..
