Nice one! Now could I use this with my Maschine or in my iPad when I use iMaschine on the go? as well could I use them on Logic pro? Just got my self a copy of the number 1 version.
@simplybeinme maschine doesn't open kore sounds, if you want to use the sounds you have to open the actual waves in maschine, just browse to the folder where the kore samples are, and open those up in maschine
@ken2719 if you have 2 already 1 is cool, I like 2 better out of them, they are nice together but if I only got one of them it would be part 2. It's still worth it for more sounds, but if it's the only one you're gonna get, go with 2.
@ken2719 they're charging $119 for this, now compare that with the like 90 GB sample library in KOMPLETE 7, NI pulls most of these sounds from the new KONTAKT library, I do like KORE as an interface, but for your money, buy KOMPLETE 7 and you are HOOKED !! you get the slickest synths in the world (Massive, Absynth, Prophet (pro-53), FM8) plus the best Drum Mdl "Battery" plus thousands & thousands of sounds that will all run inside of KORE, and will be categorized and can also run in Kore.
@mineheadX1 I forgot to mention that the full suite of KOMPLETE 7 is under $500, the value is ridiculous compared to these limited Kore expansions. Thanks for the review though, I can attest that most of those sounds are directly from K7 & Maschine.
Check out all the free software at Native Instruments, you can really pick & choose what you need for your musical taste, some people are overwhelmed with too much choice.
@mineheadX1 I agree komplete is a huge value, but I don't agree that these exact sounds are duplicated in Komplete, there is so much in komplete that you can probably get close, but the presets in the expansions are not in komplete. They aren't from the factory libraries.
I was using kore player for about 6 months. Then my friend ends up getting the Kore 2 software edition. OMG!! It's totally worth the investment. There aret too many extra parameters and the vst hosting is awesome. I use it with Ableton Live 8. Native Instrument is one of the best companies in the world. I'm buying N.I. Komplete 6 this week. I cannot wait.
@CR1S1S127 agreed, NI is blowing the doors off of the software world, with the exception of Spectrasonics (Stylus RMX, Omnisphere, Trillian), get K7 and the Spectrasonics stuff and your done, look no further. That's all the software you'll need for the next 5 years..
@BrandonCarterTV that's whas good yo! NI puts it down on these expansions, dope that they can be played with their free players OR the full versions, I like that.
@winfred55 they both are good, I like 2 better it's more versatile and the sounds are just a bit more useful in my opinion. Can't go wrong with either, but get 2 first then get 1 if you want some more lol.
not sure what you mean "velocity individual sounds" the sounds respond to velocity and depending on the instrument probably some of them have multiple layers.

So do you need to have the Kore 2 MIDI keyboard for it to work? And once I download this what do you do?
AYoungerMC 1 year ago
@AYoungerMC no, you just use this with the free kore player software, it opens as a plugin in whatever daw or host you are using
SoundsAndGear 1 year ago
@SoundsAndGear Oh so does that mean I can use it with FL Studio? And thanks so much for a quick response, and I really liked the video. =)

My friend said the only problem is it vwill not recognize pirated soundpacks and vst's from N.I. but that's to be expected.

@CR1S1S127 lol, that's a good thing, teaches people to stop pirating lol.

Do these sounds have velocity individual sounds?
L1SE19 2 years ago
not sure what you mean "velocity individual sounds" the sounds respond to velocity and depending on the instrument probably some of them have multiple layers.
SoundsAndGear 2 years ago
yeah I meant do the sounds respond to different velocity's properly, or is it just the sounds get quieter or louder?
L1SE19 2 years ago
it depends on the sound, some have different samples for the layers, some respond to aftertouch, etc. It's really sound specific
SoundsAndGear 2 years ago
hmmm, not sure fam lol
SoundsAndGear 2 years ago
you may have to do a rescan or something in the kore player, it doesn't like when you move the sounds.
SoundsAndGear 2 years ago
I remember when urban arsenal 1 came out, I wanted it so bad

I feel you man, this one is pretty coo...I'll review the first one as well.
