Maybe they are looking for another job, as they should not be re-elected here in the states. At the least should be treated as those singers who spoke out when out of the country Dixie Chicks wasn't it//
How this republican are supporting a military regimen, and support the military kidnaping of a presidente, and speak in behalf USA ,we have our secretary of State that support the democracy, what he is doing? supporting militars, I know why they lost the eleccion, this man does not have respect for the democracy, he is a friend of extremist in honduras, and this is why he is helping his criminal friend
A very bad case of the shits is SMARTER than the GOP Senate & their entire following. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand how they LOST 57 Senate & House Seats over a 2 year period. LOL
I just love seeing these pro democracy GOP senators speak for democracy. I just have one question, Where were they when Salvador Allendé was overthrown by butchers defending US interests. Where were they when death squads killed people wonton style. Where were they when the contras were maiming children and nuns and cardinals were being killed ,raped. When South America was almost totally under the hand of military regimes. I guess they were having boy scout meetings at the school of Americas
THANKS DeMINT for verifying a true democracy .. Venezuela, Bolivia, Nicaragua and Ecuador UNFORTUNATELY, have already been HIJACKED by Hugo Chavez and his marxist-leninist comunist gov't...as the early steps to this hijacking is tearing apart each respective country's constitution, then nationalizing the largest of mega corporations, banks then attacking the "OLIGARCHIES" THAT IS THE UNIVERSITY SCHOOLED PROFESSIONALS AND WORKING WHITE COLLAR CLASS. Chavez is following the Cuban style of govt.
In other words, if the PEOPLE elect someone who puts people ahead of profits, the US should help the military remove them...or, as has happened repeatedly in the past, just kill them.

I am so glad to see these senators are doing something to bring attention to this issue, Hillery better read that letter they are sending her, the new Honduran president deserves a chance to be heard
1) To those who think the issues in Honduras is not their problem, think again and carefully. Chavez is taking possession of Latin American countries, one by one, hes got the means to do it (money), means provided by Venezuelan oil and drugs (FARC). He sponsored Mel Zelayas campaign; He is buying peoples allegiances to protest against democracy and freedom here in Honduras. Hes sponsoring infiltrates to make riots and weaken the country. I know this for a fact, I live here.
You are using the same technique Bush used to invade irak. FEAR. Bush said "iraq has nuclear weapons that they want to give terrorist so they atack USA", and so they went to war and never found nuclear weapons, the war was the stupidest mistake ever!! now you are saying "Chavez wants to invade USA" stop making up stupid arguments and putting fear into peoples minds!!
3) Do you think this could never happen to U.S.A.? Think again, Open your eyes. Remember, NOBODY thought the Titanic would sink. Open your eyes and do something NOW, while you still have the chance.
2) His biggest ambition is to have ALL Latin American countries under his leftist dictatorship, and then, make his final move U.S.A., Hes already got Iraqs and Russias support. No Honduran citizen understood or believed this when Venezuelan people cried out for their freedom until we faced this horrible assault, until it was our turn to suffer what they once suffered.
But, why if they speak to the respect from the Constitution, there is a militar base from USa in Honduras wich is againt the constitution from Honuduras ???
If president Zelaya was going against his country`s constitution, then that is something that must be dealt in courts! isn`t that what democracy is all about? otherwise any government can be "removed from office" with the pretext " he/she was going "against constitution".
By his actions he removed himself from office? is this guy retarded or stupid? president Zelaya was removed from office by force. the military assaulted his house at dawn ,he was sleeping and by force took him out the country! cowards! then shut down all tv stations and radios, so nobody knows whats going on. If the US truly defends democracy, then stop defending fake governments and suport the democratically elected president which is Zelaya.
Did you know there have been more dead people during Zelaya's presidential period than dead people in Irak? Did you know misterious venezuelan planes stopped landing in hidden roads (yes!! roads) since he was outsted? (I remember lights were off during these landings and came back as soon as these planes took off) - No one told me this, I live here. So, Mr. Valenzuela, I recommend you knowing before talking.
yeah yeah whatever, Venezuelans can be landing anywhere, it doesnt matter! nothing justifies removing the president by force!. again all this issues must be dealt and verified in court, because you can bluff whatever you please but at the end you must prove it in courts! that is what democracy is all about, nobody is guilty until proven so in courts. about the dead people in irak again you must prove it in court! you fill your mouths with the words "defend democracy" but know nothing about it.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow

We already proved it, that's why he is out, now you prove his inocence, and doesn't chavez just shot down another 32 stations there? are you Honduran? do you live in Honduras?
this could happen to Obama, and he was elected but that still the law. you get impeached , if you are found guilty your out. the US military will remove Obama
I stand with the Hondoran people..and the "Rule of Law"...I've written Cornyn and others to support the Hondoras and it's people...I'm very proud that took the action they did to defend their freedom and Costituion...God Bless Them !! Let Freedom Ring...
Most Hispanics ( Venezuelans, Cubans, Nicaraguans, and Hodurans) have given their vote to democrats. I can only speak for myself- I will never vote for the democrats. When did Nicaragua become communist- when Carter was in office. When did Hugo Chavez solidify himself in Venezuela after the coup in which the OEA intervened for his return. DId the OEA help the Venezuelans later? The OEA is a good concept but it only works when its members are fair. Insulza is the biggest joke!
